What a lovely & delicious place! The man at the drive through (must be the owner, or VERY dedicated and needs a raise) working @ noon on Saturday, Aug 6 was just wonderful. He helped me decide what I wanted! Wasn't expecting that. I drove up to the menu and told him I just needed a minute to look. There was nobody behind me in the drive through, so he didn't make me feel rushed, but he asked me what I liked, what I was hungry for, etc. He even said, "I haven't seen you before. Are you from Plainview?" No, sir! I told him I was just visiting from Dallas, and he made me feel so special. What a nice feeling. THEN I finally get to open my bag... The food was amazing! Chips, salsa, sweet tea, fajita shrimp plate... Everything was perfect. He even gave me extra lemons without me asking. Great experience! Thanks for making my day!

All Taco Bells are the same. I just needed something fast and could heat up later on. The food was as good as any Taco Bell
Lively, colorful decor. Terrific food at reasonable prices. Beef fajitas to die for. Quick service but food all made from scratch. House-made tortillas.
We frequented the Old Mexico in the late 1950's when we were in college. It defined excellent Mexican cuisine for us and set the standard for years to come. We loved the place. My siblings and our spouses returned to relive the experience. We were sorely disappointed. The entrees were mediocre, at best.

We were looking for a dinner place after a day on the road that would possibly have Gluten Free items. We knew that as a chain GF was a good possibility. They were accommodating to my wife's food allergies and provided good service. Service was slightly slow but that was do to our waitperson getting a couple of tables at the same time.I had a pasta dish and I think my wife had a hamburger.
Stopped for breakfast at 10:15 a.m. based on reviews on Trip Advisor. Plus we like to support local businesses as we travel. This place offers carry out and seated dining. We had bacon, egg, and cheese burritos that came with complimentary rojo and verde salsas and chips. The chips were okay, the salsas spicy and the burritos large and tasty! There are no printed menus, so the wait person tells you what is available and there is a large board with a list but unless you ask about the price you won't know âºï¸. Our two burritos and two large iced teas were $9.00!! We thought it was very reasonable. The place is clean, but not well decorated. Service is friendly and fast. The owner is very friendly and talkative. it's off the main interstate but easy to find and we could park our truck/5th wheel in a lot across the street.

We joined friends for dinner at Carlito's last week when we were in Plainview for business. The restaurant has relocated downtown. Not certain why, but wonder if the move has impacted their dinner business. I ordered the combination plate with red sauce on both the enchilada and the relleno. Both we very good. The chips and salsa we excellent. We are accustomed to food from Norther New Mexico. Carlito's doesn't quite measure up, but beats anything else in or close to Plainview.

Visited with a half-dozen business colleagues and was very pleased with the wide range of non-TexMex dishes on the menu and the dish I chose. (#34 - a concoction of chicken, beef and shrimp with vegetables and beans)Service was fast and friendly, the beer selection was pretty good and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

The meals for most part were good. Do not plan on any refills, waitress must had walked by at least 4 times with all of our glasses empty. Seemed to not only our table with this happening. Most likely will be returning again, like to enjoy dinner, not spend time trying to get drink refills.
