Icicle creek in Leavenworth at Bridge Creek campground is so quiet amd beautiful. Nestled among mountains right on icicle creek. Fishing feet from tent. No showers. But it doesn't matter. It's worth it forthe beauty. Quick rinse and bathe in the river.

First time here and it was not crowded which was great. Service was friendly and efficient and the food came fairly fast. My Super Burrito was really good but my wife's Enchilada Verdes looked good but the Verdes sauce, which should be almost sweet, was as hot and spicy as molten lava. They brought a second one for her to try in case it was just a fluke but the replacement one was just as hot. We have eaten these in probably 25 different Mexican restaurants so we know what they should be like. A shame since mine was so good. Will probably try again and hope that it was just a chef that did not know what they were doing with the Verdes sauce.

Carlos1800 Mexican Restaurants east 2013 (Leavenworth location) What a journey, as a restaurant we're proud to say that you are the reason to improve the way we prepare our Mexican-Yucatecan food and the ingredients that go into it. And it just so happen
Everything (burrito, salad & salsa) over the top tomato-ee and not much for flavor & spices. Also out of guacamole. Who runs out of guacamole?!?! I'd try one of the other Mexican places in town if you can

This is a locals place and it took us a few minutes to figure out everything. But the people are nice and speak both English and Spanish natively. There are two parts to the menu, the "standard" Mexican stuff is listed behind the counter and the more fancy dishes have pictures, names and prices over the windows between the door and the counter. You order at the counter, pay and they bring the food to the table along with a green salsa. Both my wife and I ordered the more fancy dishes. She ordered the Tamales Poblanos, which was very good. I had the Red Mole Enchiladas and also found it very good. We would come back, there are many more choices we would try.

I knowwwww I know, taco salads are not authentico, but hey I like 'em. And this was a perfect one. Fresh light crispy shell, still warm, nestled on a bit of creamy refried beans, filled with tender seasoned beef, fresh crunchy lettuce, tomatoes, the perfect amount of shredded cheese, a healthy dab of sour cream and some pretty darn amazing guacamole. Excellent lunch sized and priced menu. Hubs had fajitas with all the trimmings and there was actually way more meat than peppers! Clean and comfy, friendly staff and tasty salsa.
