Things to do in Oregon City
This place has been a few other restaurants, but it has been Don Chico for a couple of years now, I think. It has a lot of good choices, including breakfast items that are available all day.We ordered a nacho which was very good. We also got a chicken taco salad which was pretty traditional and good. I like to order the Chimichanga for comparison. I ordered this one with carne asada. The Chimi was huge with sour cream, guacamole, tomatoes, lettuce, and rice and beans. It was pretty crispy on the ends (I really like it to be very crispy) but not so much in the middle for some reason. The filling was good with more than just the meat. And there was enough to take home which is always a plus. I got some horchata and really loved it. The others got the jamaica drink and were not sure about it -- I think it's an acquired taste. The servers were very nice, and the place was clean and nicely decorated. It's in a nice location, in the middle of the upper part of town. We definitely will come back and recommend it to others.

The food is pretty much like every other Taco Bell. Cheap and relatively good. The restaurant is always clean and the employees are usually friendly and competent. The drive-through is usually fast. The one thing to remember about this Taco Bell is that it is just down the road from the local high school and a community college. At lunch time during the school year it is CRAZY! Stay away from 11:30 until 1:00.

I love the food at this place! Perfect size portions on the bar/happy our menu for my small appetite. And the prices are great! My favorite is the chicken mini deluxe burrito. I do have to say I am not wild about their margaritas though. I'll find something else to drink. Some of their specialty drinks are tasty.

We recently met our daughter for dinner at Tachos. There are some reviews on the internet that led me to believe this might be more of a bar that serves food, In fact, this is a wonderful family restaurant, colorfully decorated and presented with enthusiasm. In this respect, Mexico should be so good! A pair of guitar carrying singers worked the room and that was also delightful. The room really felt festive, but it was not so noisy that we were unable to communicate. The waiter appeared promptly, but following our order, the food was a little slow in coming. More curious, the meals were not exactly as we expected. For example, we have eaten arroz con pollo many times and this just wasn't quite right. Everything was edible, though, so it could have been worse. All in all , this was a great place to meet our family for an evening meal.

Small restaurant serving original Oaxacan (sp?) regional Mexican food. Not your typical large commercial Mexican restaurant serving mostly various combinations of canned frijoles, rice, cheese and chicken or ground hamburger. I've eaten her several time and sometimes service isn't that good not to mention in past they didn't open on time but for the most part that hasn't been a problem and the food is excellent and unique.

We were looking for good Mexican Food. This restaurant showed to have good reviews. It was a little difficult to find parking, but this place was worth the search. The staff was very friendly, we didn't have reservations and were seated right away. The food was excellent and they got out order just right.

We ate here on an Friday, but before the rush. As others have said the place is small with no real ambiance. The food is delicious!!!. Prices are very reasonable. You order at the counter and prepay for your food. Eat in food arrives on paper plates and you have only plastic forks and knives. Real flatware would be nice.
