We just went to eat at this little restaurant where we were alone. The food was average so no complaints there but when we asked for the check, there was suddenly 10 soles added for the service. When I checked the previous bills (it was a little book), I saw that they added different amounts for the service with each bill. I always leave a few soles for the service but I like to choose for myself how much it is. Things like this make me feel bad about my decision to pick this restaurant.

We went to this restaurant after an awesome but tiring day of hiking up the Macchu Picchu hill. Had dinner at this place and it was exactly what we needed! A mixture of Italian and fast food, delicious, freshly-made with love and at a better price than the restaurants on the main square of Ollantaytambo, as the name "Baratie" suggests.We had spaguetti bolognese and a pizza, which they were so nice to accompany with garlic bread. It was delicious and filling. Definitely restored our hungry bodies after a long day. Also has wifi, which came in very handy. Recommended!-Comimos aquà después de un maravilloso pero cansador dÃa de subir la montaña de Machu Picchu. Cenamos en este restaurante y fue justo lo que necesitábamos! Una mezcla de comida italiana y comida rápida, deliciosa, hecha al momento con amor y a un mejor precio que la de los restaurantes en la plaza principal de Ollantaytambo, como el nombre "Baratie" sugiere.Comimos spaghetti boloñesa y una pizza, lo que amablemente complementaron con pan de ajo. estuvo delicioso y abundante. Definitivamente repuso nuestros cuerpos cansados después de un largo dÃa. Además tiene wifi, lo que nos resultó muy útil. Recomendado!

Ordered Ceviche and it is horrible. Although Peru has an excellent cuisine, touristic restaurants like these are giving Peru's cuisine a bad name. Unfortunately, Ollantay is a very small tourist town and most restaurants here serve subpar food.

We saw this restaurante highly rated on trip advisor so sought out this lovely family_run restaurante. The mushroom soup was spectacular, The chicken fajitas unlike any fajitas.

If you are actually doing research and considering this restaurant, then let me help you decide. Donât go and avoid the frustrating event that will happen when you pay your bill.The reason for my review is to warn you that this restaurant automatically charges you 10%for service. I was in peru for almost 3 weeks and this was the only time tipping was included in the bill which made the experience unpleasant. (We did tip throughout our trip but we do not like being imposed to tip) When we asked the waiter what the 10% was for he answered: âservice and hot waterâ... we ended up paying it cuz it wasnt worth the hassle to contest it and we probably would have tip the same amount...As for the food, My gf and i thought that the food was average at best and on the expensive side. Again, We usually dont mind paying more just as long as the quality of the food justifies the premium price. However, la perlaâs food is too salty and the premium you pay is for being close to the city centre and not for the foodI suggest leaving the restaurant, walking towards the right for a couple of minute and buy some of those street anticuchos (i.e kebabs/skewers)Hello Yulbichioe, I sorry to heat that, but we dont charge 10% I think you did I mistake with your review. We never charger 10% here. And the price of the food is the same here in all restaurant. We are very old, tradicional restaurant, here. The Nachos are very crispy, the source with it is excellent, best I have here in Peru so far, highly recommanded. And you can see the kitchen from the hall, actually, with good view of the plaza and the mountains if you sit at the table outside.Thank you for your visit. We will wait for you. Come back soon!

We had an early dinner here once during our stay in Ollantaytambo. We ordered sandwiches, which were excellent. The atmosphere was nice with very tasteful local decoration. Service was quick and friendly. We were very happy.
