Hole in the wall in a shopping center that is focused on bringing out the Best flavors in the food. Chicken was perfectly Cooked, sausage had great taste and meats were very good. I could close my eyes while eating and imagine myself back down south in Ecuador or Peru, same savory tastes.

There was nothing particularly noteworthy about the place, but the food was good, it was reasonably priced, and it was delivered in a reasonable period of time. The service was cheerful and friendly and we had no complaints so I would absolutely go back without hesitation.

We like to come here often as a family or we will sometimes order on the app on our phones. Every time we have ordered on the app(sometimes it's easier than fighting a crowd) our order has been messed up. Other than that, very friendly staff, very clean, great environment etc. we love coming here. Wonderful food!

Great little restaurant, should definitely be listed.
Los Reyes Mexican Restaurant is near Northwoods Mall but in the shopping plaza with Old Navy, Best Buy, Barnes & Nobel. There is outdoor dining available on a patio or you may dine inside in booths or at the bar. The food is very reasonable and it was not too busy during our visit. The service was slower to place the order but meals came shortly after ordering. We did visit in the lull between lunch and dinner so the staff was probably making use of this down time to prepare for dinner however customers' first impressions are important and you do not want to keep them waiting to order or they might leave. The food was good and plentiful. Los Reyes is worth visiting on a budget or if you would like to avoid the larger and busier restaurants in the area.

The margarita was watered down, the salsa was too thin and acidic, the burrito was bland and had an avocado stone in it. The only positive was t here was plenty of pork in the burrito. Menu is not what we expected but it did not disappoint! We had margaritas, chips and quesco while we waited for our food. The restaurant was very busy as it was Friday night but the waitress was very good. I had pork tacos and they were excellent, best that I have had here in Charleston. My husband had a Mexican type sandwich and he loved it. Highly recommend this hole in the wall off the beaten path restaurant.

Since 2003 , La Nortena has served as the anchor "authentic Mexican cuisine" restaurant for the historic Charleston/N. Charleston area. The award-winning restaurant, owned and operated by restaurateur Luis Aguirre owes much of its success to our loyal and
With no time to cook Friday, we stopped into LaNortena Mexican Rest. for dinner. Everyone greets you and promptly takes your drink orders, while bringing out complimentary chips and salsa. On this night, my wife had chicken quesadillas with a salad, while i had seafood and steak combo fajitas. Mine came with charro beans and a salad. The beverages were in large chilled, frosty mugs. The service, on this night by Carlos, was greatly attentive and helpful. Others stopped by the table including the owner, Luis, to be sure all was well. Edgar, the bartender, was having a birthday and shared his cake with us. I almost feel like Norm in "Cheers". They try hard and it shows.
