If you want an inexpensive but awesome true mexican meal this is it! I had not been there in awhile but went this last weekend. We ate in and the sever at the counter spoke and understood English very well. This was appreciated as It gave me confidence that my gluten intolence was understood. For $14 I had 5 chicken flautas, rice, beans, extra guac and bottled water! 2 people could have shared. It was flavorful and authentic. The only reason for the 4 stars is the atmosphere is not great, needs an update.

Our neighbor steered us to this restaurant. If you're looking for a fancy place, this isn't it. No frills, strip mall, hole in the wall kind of place. Very clean, very affordable. We both had the three taco combo with rice and beans and it was GREAT ! Fresh, authentic food...Good service with a smile......Not real lose to our house, but we';; go back !

Looking for breakfast and found Andres down by the river. The first impression we had was are you sure??? We walked up the steps and found a nice spot overlooking the river. We wanted to sit on the porch overlooking that river, it was full.. Sat inside where we could look out. She had Mike's. Fratta with potatoes, very good, large portion. The Flortine Benidic was outstanding again a large portion. Good coffee and Friendly staff.

I finally stopped by here on my way home from work. I had been told by several co-workers that the chicken dinner was excellent. Much to my surprise it was better than excellent, it was AMAZING! The dinner came with a whole chicken, two sides (rice and beans), tortillas, and salsa. Enough to feed the whole family. The chicken seasoning was incredible and the portions were huge. A great plan for a last minute meal pick up. I will definitely make this a frequent stop. Not really a place to dine in, however, but perfect carry out.
Although it is not authentic Mexican, Chipotle is a very good fast food restaurant. The service is very good, the food is always fresh and delicious. I had the salad with chicken, rice and beans. My husband had a burrito. He said his was a little on the bland side. .. I just think he needed some more salsa/pico.

We went back to Taco Grande to see if anything changed since the new owner took over (and because our neighbor loves the place). I didn't notice any changes, although we've been told that the prices are lower. The complimentary chips and salsa were good. The chips are fried and a bit heavy, but taste great. They serve green salsa, which was okay, but I'm more of a red salsa person. For the meal I went with one of my favorites - sope. It was very good, and came with a lot of food. I really should have taken one of the sope home, but instead I ate them all. The service was good, but they were a bit slow to refill my water glass. The atmosphere is nice, and the prices were good, especially considering all the food you get. We'll definitely be back soon.

Stopped by for dinner with colleagues and was impressed. The patio is modern and comfortable; very chill ambiance. The selection of tacos was as eclectic as it was delicious and the cucumber margarita with habanero infused tequila was so good on a hot summer evening. Definitely recommend literally everything on the menu.

A very small counter order strip mall place. Tight quarters inside. The outdoor patio seems like it had more room. You can also order drive through. They give you a small chips and salsa first. The chips are very salty and seasoned like Doritos. The salsa came out hot. very different but tasted very good. Tacos you can order American or Mexican style and they also have specialty and gourmet tacos, tortas, burritos, enchiladas, and fajitas.I went with a shrimp taco that was very good and a grilled steak taco that was fairly good. The 3 shrimp were large and covered with lettuce, pico de gallo, and a slice of avocado all drizzled with a chipolte mayo sauce. Wonderful! The steak was good, not very chewy but not much in the taco. The taste of everything was fresh and good. Looks like they have other locations and hope they are bigger. I will be going and trying other things in the future as the taste is still on my tongue.
