Had a phenomenal lunch with family at Habanero. Not crowded at all. Our server was super friendly and quick. Received fresh chips and salsa with refills upon arrival. We devoured our chile rellenos platter (a measure of any great Mexican restaurant :) with delicious refried beans and rice. Hidalgo salad with candied pecans, apples and tasty dressing was a definite hit. We enjoyed the sangria too. Great dining experience and will definitely return.

If you see the commercials for this place on TV you want to run out the door and go there. Don't.The place is discusting and the food horrible. If you wan't good fast mexican food there are many good choice near this location that are far better. We are Shark's fans and there is a location within a mile or two of this place. There is also a local spot called the Alamo that is really good if you want a killer burrito. After one experience we will never return.Yuck!

The Subway-style build-as-you-go service line is a great way to get exactly what you want. All of the ingredients looked good, the staff was friendly and helpful, and portions were generous but not excessive. This was my first time in a Chipotle. And probably my last. Unlike the majority of people who apparently want spicier food, I can't taste anything after the first bite when hot peppers are involved. Chipotles (smoked dried jalapeños) are used in pretty much every main option--it's not just a name like "Chili's".Although I can't find much to like for my palate, I'm still rating it very good. Folks that like spicy, custom, inviting fast food should enjoy this place, as evidenced by the line out the door on a damp Monday night.

This is in a small mini-mall, next to the Mexican food grocery. They have many kinds of burritos, which I think is the highlight. Most are made from meat, but they have 5 varieties of vegetarian combinations. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you. Nice people behind the counter, a little dingy interior. I have eaten here twice now and the food was good both times. I will be back. Also, the grocery store next door is really great.

Their Burritos are wonderful. We lived up the hill for a year and ate at The Alamo many times and were never disappointed. The decor is nothing to write home about and service is not exceptional. Just go have a meal. You'll love the food and the price is so reasonable. Share the Burritos are big.

Wonderful service as I was able to substitute tongue instead of the usual ham and chicken in one of their salads. Salad had black beans in bottom of bowl and avocados, cheese, and tender tongue on top of lettuce.Choice of ranch or thousand island dressing.First time we have seen fish enchiladas on a menu. It was very moist and tasty.

âFavorite Local Mexican RestaurantââPatronâ is a nice, small, family run Mexican Restaurant, in a strip mall shopping center, in Newbury Park, California, along the 101 Freeway, in Thousand Oaks, California (In the same shopping center as the âInâ N Out Burgersâ). The free chips and salsa are good, and are served as soon as you are seated. They make good tasting, freshly hand-made Margaritas, with price reductions during Happy Hour.We have sampled and love their ground beef and chicken tacos â Excellent! Their âComboâsâ are good as well. The large tostadas are very good too, and with different options available, for what is in them. They do a lot of âtable-side Guacamoleâ orders, where they bring a cart to your table, and then custom make your Guacamole, based on your choice of their offered ingredients, to change the spice level to match your desire.Prices are about on par with other Mexican Restaurants and affordable. Parking in the shopping center parking lot can get difficult sometimes, especially later during the evening, due to a crowded sports bar next door.
