Chilli Hills Restaurant

We visited tonight for the first time. Our server was attentive and the food was well prepared in a short period of time. The portions were huge especially considering the incredibly modest pricing. It was a Friday evening & they had a small country band playing. However, the music was not intrusive. Overall, we had a nice meal in a place that was friendly & courteous. Well visit again if we are ever in the area.

Quaint truck-stop diner! Just what we expected. Service was quick. Wait staff were friendly. Atmosphere was 50’s truck-stop diner style (as would be expected!) I had the catfish basket. It was delicious and the fries were, seriously, the best I have ever had!

My husband and I went to the La Hacienda for dinner tonight. This restaurant can only sell wine and beer, but I had heard that they make a great wine Margarita. I was skeptical, but I decided to try it, it was fantastic! I ordered a Beef Enchilada, and my husband ordered a Chicken Fajita. Neither one of us was prepared for what we got. My steak Enchilada was served on a sizzling hot platter. It had a flour tortilla LOADED with cheese and red sauce, with a Full Steak served on top, with a side order of beans and rice. My husband's Chicken Fajita meat was also served on a sizzling hot plate with his chicken and peppers, a bean soup and warmed flour tortillas in a separate clay warmer. One of the best meals we have had here in Moriarty! The only reason that I gave this restaurant 4 stars is because the waitress kept trying to rush us. If the place was busy, I could understand, but there were many empty tables and it was not crowded in the least.

I've been there many times. The last time I went, there was mold on the cheese in the tacos. Never again.
