I work nearby and eat lunch here often, at least once a week. I usually get mine to go. They are a small café type restaurant. They are consistent, quick and the order has always been correct. And everyone working there is always smiling which tells customers they like their job and will do the best they can. They have 3 TV's to watch while you wait or dine. The dining area, counter area, and restrooms are all spotless.

Not like a major discovery, all locals lined up for Sunday lunch. Expansive menu, large helpings, super salsas (bar area a bit cramped), fresh serve yourself chips, and really helpful (bilingual) staff. Ambiance-nothing fancy, serapes and sombreros on the wall but you don't go here for the pretty. Great place, small space, outdoor seating available. One disappointment-menudo is no longer on the weekend menu-que lastima.

We have eaten here hundreds of times since they opened in the 90's!! It is not a fancy place but very comfortable (unless they have their air conditioning on so cold you have to bring an extra sweater!). The food is consistently good love the fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, pueblo burritos, menudo is good, fish tacos -basically everything! The managers and staff have been consistently wonderful - Frank, Jorge, Perla, and currently Jorge, Juan, etc We like the free chips and love their salsas. We also like helping ourselves to the chips, salsas, drinks, roasted peppers and lemon slices. The prices are good - generally around $7- $10 each depending on what you order. Prices have gone up over the years, of course, and it isn't as reasonable as it used to be but the 2 of us can eat here and have a good dinner for around $20. We love their Wednesday kids eat free deal and often bring our grandchildren! One thing we've noticed lately as a negative are sometimes the tables aren't cleared as often as needed and in conjunction with that I don't like it when they do clear the tables next to me when they sometimes wheel their cart up with yucky dishes and other people's plates of discarded food near where I am trying to eat! I don't like viewing those disgusting plates! I also dont like that they are always asking me if they can take my plates while I'm still eating. Their iced tea is fresh and good but if you go in after about 7 pm they don't always have it brewed and you have to ask. No big deal as they usually brew it then but it takes about 5 minutes and you wait. Overall we really like this restaurant, their food and the friendly staff.

It's a bit difficult to find if you aren't familiar with Mo Vall but you'll enjoy it once you find it. The salsa is really tasty and the portions are adequate. The breakfasts are scrumptious. I usually order the carne asada plate. It's just simple food and quick service. The place is a bit run down but the experience is worth a try and you'll walk out with a smile on your face.

As a boy of the suburbs I have no right to call this authentic, but Iâm going to say it anyway: This is how I would imagine great street foods would be south of the border. We were in the area and I trusted trip advisors rating when the Christmas Tamale craving hit. I hoped it would be good and not scary as the waiter made sure to bring me a menu in English. My wife and I were the only customers needing those menu. The Tamales are not expensive and medium size, which is great as you can mix and match. I had the pork tamale and the chicken wrapped in banana leaf with mole sauce. The perfect portion of masa and meat with a sting of spicy salsa. Speaking of the salsa, I tried all three: The medium red, the hot green and a blazing roasted red (my name since they only called in âvery hotâ. The peppers had a great roasted flavor to enhance the fire. Most of the other customers were having the Sunday special of shredded lamb, Menudo and tortillaâs. It looked and smelled great (sorry Lambchop). I ordered a dozen tamales to go to enjoy at home. The place is decorated half with Mexico historical photos and half wrestler sheik so donât expect anything fancy like table cloth's and silverware. D.F. Tamales is a small âhole in the wallâ with only 7 tables and appears to do a lot of take-out business. They are about 3 miles off the 215 freeway, well worth the detour. It would be easy to dismiss as another taco joint driving by, but you would miss out of a great meal.

Margaritaâs Grill12630 Perris, Blvd, Moreno Valley, CA 92553We went late 9:30 on a friday night. It was our first visit and we had read some good reviews and it wasnât far from our hotel so we decided to give it a try. The place looks a little old but roomy. It looked as if the dining was separated into three different areas. There was an older couple singing Mexican music and playing the guitar. Their singing wasnât great but it was fun to listen to. Both were really sweet and came over to our table to chat a little and ask what we would like to hear them sing.We shared a combo plate since it was so late and we donât recall what it was but it seemed OK but nothing special. Our server was attentive and friendly. They serve complimentary chips and salsa and besides the regular items such as tacos, Buttitos, enchiladas taquitos and such they have rellenos, jajitas, salmon, shimp and or fish served various ways.If we are ever in the area we will give the place another try.

As we were traveling we were looking for a place to eat, with decent menu. We had ribs (OK) and the chicken salad, which had way too much sauce. Noise level was too high with music and noisy kids. Could you find a quieter area for people without kids??

We went here for Sunday Brunch. The price of $21.99 is unbeatable for the food and champagne. Champagne was just okay, but the nice thing is that it was all included in the price. Coffee was good at $2.99 per person. Chicken was very tender, omelet was delicious, and Tostada station with various shrimp and veggie selections was very good. The Carving station was just so so to me. Shrimp dishes were outstanding. Mexican hot cocoa was unique and yummy. Waffle was nicely prepared. Front greeter was warm and friendly. Waitress was above average. Overall it's a great brunch choice for good price with good service on a holiday or any Sunday. We will come back !

I got the Heartbreaker...more like the Heartburn. It was way too overloaded with other items and the bun became soggy and fell apart, didnât even finish it. And speaking of soggy, the fries were like wet noodles...maybe cook them a little longer? I was not impressed though Iâd had this place recommended to me. I wonât visit it again.

Even though this place is in a run-down plaza and kind of abandoned and out of the way, the food and service are very good! Big portions and tasty Mexican food! A little too dark lighting for my liking! Plenty of parking!
