It was my son's last weekend before returning back to school. We had told him about this restaurant but he didn't believe us. So we went to share the food experience. We were not disappointed and he was stunned about the unique flavors and freshness of the ingredients. You don't get that in Massachusetts.First we ordered homemade guacamole salsa with fresh tomato and avocado. That was followed by grilled chicken, pork, shrimp and steak quesadilla with grilled red & green peppers, tomato, onions & melted Monterrey jack cheese. My son ordered the large burrito Maria. The quesadilla were so hot the steam filled the table. From our vantage point, we could see the guacamole and tomatoes were just made by the chef. In fact, he was so happy cooking that he was dancing to the music in the restaurant. To top off a fantastic meal, we ordered cream stuffed chirros with cinnamon sugar. They were heated and presented with raspberry jam. Wow! Was that delicious. While the restaurant is small, it is run by family who are dedicated to their craft. Please stop by and taste their food. You will not be disappointed. Guaranteed.

This new eatery sits beside a former Subway sandwich shop in a small roadside mall. There here are only spaces for 12 diners in what is mainly a take-out establishment but that shouldn't deter customers once they sample what the kitchen produces. This is truly nicely balanced, flavorful Mexican food, better than anything I sampled on a recent extended trip to the Southwestern border USA. I can recommend the enchiladas and my wife says the same of the tacos. Lots of meaty alternatives but no fish; Mexican food is not normally described as "light" but they manage to produce that feeling here without sacrificing on quantity. Mexican style frozen fruit desserts on sticks are available from a freezer in the corner and a battery of hot sauce condiments is lined up for customer application. The dishes are made to order and take ten minutes or so in preparation but the product is very well worth waiting for. Still probably in "shakedown cruise" mode this is a cafe that deserves a bright future.

While the food is definitely tasty, the cheap forks are inexcusable. Having such small forks to eat with increases the time it takes each diner to finish their meal. It is also frustrating to only have very small amounts of food placed on your very thin fork. If you can increase throughput and make more money doing so, wouldn't you purchase sturdier, larger forks? It only makes good business sense.
