Anytime Iâve come here the food is always amazing. This time around we kind of got held up getting back to work because it took forever to get our check. Though it was lunch hour so they might of been busy in the front part of the restaurant.

We have eaten at this restaurant since it opened. The food is always flavorful, hot and good. They also make a mean margarita! You definitely will eat a great meal!

My husband and I waited to try this restaurant due to some not so good reviews after it first opened. We wanted the restaurant to work out some kinks first. The restaurant was clean and with cut decor. We didn't feel welcomed, food was only OK and the service was slow. I received my margarita half way through my meal. The staff was a bit disorganized. Couples coming in were asked not to sit at a table with four seats, REALLY? Never saw that before. The restaurant was busy with take out orders and people running in and out with their orders, not very relaxing. There are some other great Mexican restaurants we've found in Madison and Middleton, will not return.

Tried Lupe's for the first of many times today. The staff are super nice and helpful, they keep the place clean too. It feels kind of like a sidewalk cafe, but inside. The menu is straightforward, very easy to order from and create exactly what you want. The ingredients are fresh and prepared daily, and desserts and horchata are also fresh daily in-house. And they are delicious. This place is special, and I'm glad we found it! We tried various tacos and a burrito, all were made to order quickly, correctly, and were delicious.

We just happened to see this new restaurant while shopping. What a find! Everything we had was delicious and there were plenty of options for ânot too spicyâ. Tacos can be ordered individually for $3 each and accompanied by your choice of sides, also ordered individually. We were especially impressed by the yummy chips and salsa. Although we chose a smaller meal of tacos, cilantro rice, and plantains, they also have burritos and enchiladas. Definitely some new competition for other Madison area Mexican restaurants.
