Things to do in Matamoros
The tacos are ok...Not a great deal of flavor.. the price is just right but dont expect great tacos just good not great
Fue una muy grata experiencia comer en este lugar, pues la comida es de primera calidad. Recomiendo sobre todo el aguachile de camarones, es una delicia! Los mariscos y pescados son muy frescos y el sazón es estupendo.
Restaurant specializing in quality cuts of meat such as: beef fajita, chicken, T-bone, chuleton, ribs, porterhouse, tomahawk. in the morning breakfast

Parking easy to navegate as is a small lot. At arrival waa advised to pick a table as please. Good cocktails. Good plate serving sizes. Meats well seasoned, good flavors and combinations on both meat or seafood. Must try stater sauce with the the pamela cheese sticks. Heads up, order everyting you need when you see him, aa they will not come back. Meats seem to be grilled at order, so they take time to serve. Wide selection of beers. Have visited this restaurant for breakfast, but not worrh it. Lunch or dinner seems to be the spot for good food. No entretainment offered other than 2 flat screen TVs. Ambiance seems clean and smoke free. Reasonably priced but not cheap.

El Ultimo Taco has been around for Decades! This place has been serving street tacos longer than most of their competitors and arguably some of the best in all of Matamoros!!! They serve just about all cuts of your traditional street taco meats! Our personal favorites are tocos de trompo, right out of the fire!!! Second only to tacos mixtos de tripa & bistec! We cant help but to stop here just about every time we pass by!!!

Where I do start? Best place on Matamoros. Was hesitant about coming but now I regretted had not come before.....The kitchen is one of the best I had had in Matamoros in long long time.Octopus was right on and the cabreria for my wife was up to any other I've tried before. Marco the chef while I was there knows what he is doing. Javier the waiter helped by one more sorry that I missed his name were amazing. Cost quality ratio right on.Will be there next weekend for sure. It worth the drive from Brownsville just to eat here.My new favorite place no doubt.

Near the International Bridge
Garcia's encompasses some real old school charm! Including some quality service offered only at the kind of private restaurants from days of old. This fine establishment still offers to flambé their prized dishes at table side!Weather your here with friends, family or a date... It's a welcomed change of pace!

Our team enjoyed a hearty lunch in this nicely decorated restaurant. Big warrior like statues, skeletons (a la day of the dead theme), paintings and Mexican decor surrounded us as we dined at a large wooden table.Meat dishes dominated the menu and many of us chose fajitas, arachera mi pueblito, etc. my chicken fajitas were plentiful and flavorful but my co-worker found the arachera to be a bit too tough, most likely the cut of meat.I tried the nopales (cactus) for the first time and wasnât sure what to expect. It had a firm texture reminding me of a thicker bell pepper but taste did not match anything Iâve eaten in the past. I ended up slicing it into thin strips and adding them to my fajitas.Overall good setting, service but mixed bag on the food.
