Find out what Mexican restaurants to try in Machu Picchu. It's no wonder Machu Picchu is Peru's most-visited site. Dating to the mid-1400s, it's a marvel of mortar-free limestone architecture perched on a high plateau deep in the Amazonian jungle. Get there via train from Cusco or, if you're not faint-hearted, make the trip on foot via a multi-day hiking trail—you'll travel through deep Andean gullies and enjoy stunning views.

We were looking for something to eat after visiting Machu Picchu. Walked up Avenida Pachacuteq; there are many restaurants on this street, the further uphill you go, the lower the prices. There are many casual low-priced places, this one looked good. For 10 soles we got a single burger, fries, and a drink. It wasn't the best burger I've ever had, and not sure what else was in it, but it tasted good with no ill effects. Service a bit slow. A decent place for a bite to eat.

We ate here as our Lares Trek expedition company suggested it following a morning in Machu Picchu. It was AWFUL. The food was terrible & hugely overpriced, the service even worse. My partner doesnât like onions and had to send her meal back twice, finally refusing to eat there. The restaurant was full of noisy, rowdy tour groups and no effort was made to respect other patrons.Avoid this place at all costs.

In the pizzeria we prepare the best pizzas in the city. Our staff has the slogan to attend the clients with great care. We do not charge taxes. The attention is very fast. The dishes we serve are very fresh and prepared instantly.

I really liked this restaurant and ate hear three times. The people are very friendly and the food was really good. We were walking by and this guy approached us to offer a âlunch specialâ, and it really was. For 30 soles, we had entry, main course desert... and a complimentary pisco sour.He had criolla soup, alpaca meat and quinoa pancakes as dessert.Recommended!
