Reviews on Mexican food in Lynn, Massachusetts, United States. Lynn is the 9th largest municipality in Massachusetts and the largest city in Essex County. Situated on the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 10 miles (16 km) north of downtown Boston, Lynn is part of Greater Boston's urban inner core. An early colonial settlement and industrial center, Lynn was long colloquially referred to as the "City of Sin," owing to its historical reputation for crime and vice. Today, however, the city is known for its contemporary public art, large international population, historic architecture, downtown cultural district, loft-style apartments, and public parks and open spaces, which include the oceanfront Lynn Shore Reservation; the 2,200-acre, Frederick Law Olmsted-designed Lynn Woods Reservation; and the High Rock Tower Reservation. The city also is home to the southernmost portion of the Essex Coastal Scenic Byway, Lynn Heritage State Park, and the National Register-listed Diamond Historic District.

Located near the Lynn Walmart, approximately 0.5 miles away, this is a good, colorful place to try some great Mexican food.Food and Beverages: From the large number of great options in the food menu, to the large number of beverage options, to the large quantities in the food served, to the great flavors and aromas of the food and drinks served, everything here is done rather well. Recommend the fajitas, the fish and the chicken.Service: Service with a smile - friendly and efficient.Decor: Extremely colorful and uplifting. Overall, worth revisiting.
Unlike all the phony Mexican chains, this little place has a menu with some choices that aren't "Americanized". Wonderful, tasty food served quickly, and it seems that the chefs will make any changes you request. The consumme with tons of meat and rice was very tasty, as were the chicken flautas. No beer or wine. A few desserts. Great for lunch and takeout!
I have lunch or dinner at Lupita ' s multiple times week alone, with friends or staff. Try the chicken salad! A large serving of fresh greens, delicious warm black beans, cheese, slices of yellow papaya, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, avocado, and generous strips if succulent grilled chicken across the salad. Lupida serves their own house dressing. Every meal comes with a basket of home made tortilla chips. It's all so addictive and so affordable. Full menu with a variety of options. Mexican music on weekend nights and brand-new bar. Very family friendly. The place is spotless and wonderful waitstaff! Opened Wednesdays through Sundays.
Have visited frequently. Always fresh always delicious. Its more of a take out place but the food is 5 star. Be prepared to wait though. Everything is made to order....but totally worth it!
