This little restaurant has excellent Tex-Mex food. The restaurant is always clean and the food is fresh and the best in Lubbock! The only drawback is it is very tiny with minimal seating. I believe the restaurant only has a total of nine or 10 tables but it is worth the wait!

Wow - hidden gem in Lubbock!! a little different style than most lubbock restaurants - a bit more upscale and modern. Service was wonderful - all staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Salsa is a smokier variety but not too spicy. They also have a spicy salsa - both are delicious. Definitely get the top shelf guacamole! Big portions and plenty to share. I had the fish tacos and definitely recommend them.

In town on business and stopped by for a bite to eat. The atmosphere is inviting and lively. The service is fast and friendly and the food is great. Tonight I ordered the True Bleu and it is the most amazing sandwich. April at the bar is delightful and attentive.

Slow period!!!on wait times for take out.loud crowd and totally wasted and over intoxicated crowd .They push back the take odrers instead of treating like an in line table comuster's.. I saw on Google were the place was over capacity and guy was robbed. Just think for a minute about that"Pick pockets in bar" my food was cold and not prepared to my specific request. Luckily I got out before I was pick pocketed.

We stopped for lunch and decided to dine on the outdoor patio. The service by our waiter, Ace, was amazing and the food was served piping hot and was delicious. The bottomless chips and salsa are always great. The apple pie with rum sauce was incredible.

I cant say enough without gushing about this place. What kind of wine? Youâll bring a few? Ok! Queso blend with fresh chilis? Someone pinch me. These ladies have found the perfect blend of fresh, creative and delicious. Service is impeccable. The hand crafted cocktails are a work of art .This darling cafe is friendly, adventursome, creative and very, very, special. Try it, I promise that youll like it. Im sad to read negative reviews? I believe that dining, having your hair cut, and picking out clothing are all the responsibility of a great salesperson, and the relative questions posed by the consumer. Get involved, ask questions and participate. Your choices will be considered & fulfilled here. Enjoy.

Some places just do food right. This is one of them. Nothing fancy, just good, hot, fresh food, and super nice service. Family crowd. Yum!

Where to begin? I feel horrible because I forgot to take a photo. Letâs start with there was a special on margaritas then proceed with the #23 which I had. Went with my wife and friend and it seems like a good family owned establishment. Service is solid and again the food Is above all ridiculous. Oh the shots of Don Julio worked out also. GO TO THIS PLACE.

Itâs hard to find a restaraunt that has great food and great fun for the kids! They have got it down! Wonderful food (especially the Mexican food...fajitaladas) and fun games and prizes for the kids. They even reward kids with game money for their good grades! We LOVE 50th Street Caboose!

Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuel
For many years this was my favorite place to go for Mexican food in Lubbock. I can no longer say the same. While the place is still lovely and the service is excellent, the quality of the food has gone way down. On our last visit my husband ordered chili rellenos. By the time he finished, his food was sitting in a pool of grease that had leaked out of the food. I ordered shredded beef enchiladas and there was so much fat in the meat that it was disgusting. We didn't bother getting a carryout for our leftovers and it will be a long time before we give Abuelo's another chance. This has been a real disappointment to me.
