Came here for early Sat. Dinner. When we arrived at 5:45, there were lots of empty tables. When we left an hour later, you couldnât walk through the lobby because there were so many people waiting for tables. The noise level is very high when full so beware. Their enchiladas and tostadas are delicious! This is my main place to eat when I must have Mexican!

Estrellita Restaurant has been serving the great community of Los Altos and the whole peninsula since 1958. We take pride in serving top quality, authentic and unique dishes (many of which you won?T find anywhere else). We have been around a long time and
The food was good, the service was really good, and everyone was so very pleasant. The decor was very festive. I had a vegetarian enchilada - a tangy tomatillo sauce, with cheese, sautéed vegetables and guacamole, served with rice and black beans ($12). Our table of four was served a small bowl of tortilla chips and two types of salsa. I would definitely return. We lucked out and found a parking space close to the front. Parking is limited.

My first time here. I had a mini super chicken burrito that I loved! Lots of meat and beans. One family member had a veggie bowl and the other had a large burrito. Food was very good and quite reasonable. I called ahead and it was ready for me

Stumbled in here on Christmas Eve when everything else in downtown Los Altos was closed and were intrigued enough to return for dinner. Love the margarita menu and the chips and salsa, also the unassuming atmosphere. We were here during a rainstorm, which was weirdly perfect; drinking margaritas when its absolutely pouring outside, but would love to return when the patio is open.

Came here with friends who love this restaurant. My husband got shrimp with some red sauce and salad for $20. I got a bowl of tortilla soup which was $10. I thought the soup was very average but filled with nice tender chicken but I would never order it again. My husband liked his dish but didn't rave about it. Was definitely not near our favorite Mexican restaurant for taste. Not fancy, good for families, outdoor seating and the service was excellent
