A Toda Madre

I visited for dinner around 5:30pm on a weeknight with my father (first time there for both of us). The music was a bit loud but otherwise the setting was very attractive and comfortable. We both ordered tacos, I also had a salsa sampler and a beer. All of the food was very good (if not actually exceptional). With top it was a $50 dinner, so on the expensive side considering the smallish amount of food. The servers were also great too, though, so I felt good about the visit.

Uncle Julio's Hacienda

I met customers for lunch to discuss 2019 plans and it worked out very well. Uncle Julio's is located in a great spot, so getting there is easy. The lunch menu is not huge, so it makes it easy to pick something out that looks good. I had the salmon jardin, and the others had a variety of meals. The service was great, as usual, and the food did not disappoint. I go to the Naperville location with my family, and the food is consistent. The complimentary chips and salsa are pretty amazing. Everything is made right on location, down to the tortillas and chips.. Well done.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. I expected from all the reviews that the place would be more ethnic. The food is extremely good. I had three tacos:poblano, mole chicken, and shrimp. They were very good. Other meals at table were: enchiladas and taco dinner. Everyone said they would definitely come back. Our server nicknamed "Tequila" was very nice, and very efficient. She was the only server in there but handled everything well. Price are good. Fun of course because of the BYOB. But music was not Mexican, they played alot of Fleetwood Mac, love that group so I was fine with it. Just found it curious that there was not more of a mexican flare.Still-love this place, cant wait to go back!!!
