It is located half way between the villages of Hempstead and Farmingdale. As of the 2010 census, the CDP had a total population of 51,881, making it the most populated CDP in Nassau County and the second most populated CDP on Long Island, behind only Brentwood.

Having driven by several times I finally got the urge to stop. The place is small but it's not Taco Bell. There is quite a nice assortment of burritos. The tacos were quite good and everything was fresh. The enchiladas were good with rice and beans. Look forward to going back and trying out the rest of the menu.

Margarita Cafe catered my nieceâs bridal shower. Three different entrees were ordered, my brother picked the orders up; the order was ready and well packaged. We had the chicken fajitas, Mexican falditas, and the arroz con pollo. The sides of refrained beans, black beans, guacamole, pico de Gallo were excellent. The restaurant also included salsa & a tray of freshly made tortilla chips which were crisp & not salty. The falditas were delicious, skirt steak nicely seasoned and tender. The chicken fajitas also were tasty & the grilled white meat was very tender as well. The arroz con pollo was tasty as well. I liked that the food was seasoned but not salty. We had a group of 30 woman and had plenty for everyone. Surprisingly, a lot of the food was eaten; I think everyone really enjoyed the food from Margaritaâs Cafe. Iâm looking forward to having a meal at the restaurant the next time Iâm in Wantagh.

Took the family to Mangoes on a Saturday night and the place was rocking and packed. They have a mariachi band from 6:00 to 10:00 and they donât take reservations. We had a wide variety of appetizers and dinners and they all were excellent. The drinks were also very good and not watered down. The only issue was we got our main courses about five minutes after they brought our appetizers. But we werenât rushed at all after that and I will chalk that up to the kitchen turning it over too quickly. The prices are also very reasonable.

I ate here because the Five Guys I usually visit was closed for renovations, and I always told myself I would try toe Mexican place at some point. Okay, so I did. I arrived during the middle of the afternoon and no one else was there, so the environment felt a bit sad. I got a nice heaping burrito and a $2 soda. You get chips and can select from a modest salsa assortment up front. The chips were warm, though nothing particularly notable. On the plus side, the educational TV was a nice touch. I'd call this average.

I have been to this Taco Bell many times, and i always get a good meal. They are very friendly here and i get what i am looking for. You want consistency at a fast food joint, you want it to taste like you expect.

Went to this place a few times now. However, as we were leaving work around 3:45 we decided to stop by for happy hour. Unfortunately, the bar was so crowded there was nowhere for us to sit or stand around the bar, so we decided to get a table only to find out that if you are not around the bar we cannot get the happy hour prices. We did not that stop us though even though we had to pay full prices for drink. We also ended up ordered full plates from the menu. Needless to say foods and drinks are always good here. You wonât be disappointed unless you are looking to do happy hour and there is no space.

The food was great and the service was fantastic! very reasonable too!We never had to ask for one thing. They were so attentive to us! We started off with fried avocado's (they were incredible)I had the Pork chop La Chilango it was a pork chop with broccoli rabe and white kidney beans, hot cherry peppers and rice too(this dish was recommended by the waiter and it was absolutely delicious!!!)The pork chop was huge! (I took half home)My boyfriend had a delicious dish too Huaxtecaso very nice combination of steak, chicken, chorizio and enchiladas (great portion size and he is a big eater) Sangria was delicious and so was my boyfriends Tamarindo Margarita (another great suggestion by the waiter)great place and can't wait to go back!

I'm concerned if I tell you how great this restaurant is, there will be a long line for me to wait on when I go back Small storefront restaurant with nice decor. It looks new, but I'm told it has been there 16 years The service is friendly, professional and prompt. The menu is large and includes some unusual dishes. By unusual I mean traditional Mexican dishes you won't find on most menus, not that fusion nonsensePortions are HUGE, food is delicious. The Sol Ranchero, Avocado Rolls and Paella were all outstanding, the guacamole was prepared in advance and "so-so"A single order of sopapillas for dessert was enough for 4 people Prices were reasonable and the parking lot is hugePlease don't go, I don't like long lines
