Awesome little spot for some real authentic Mexican food. Stopped with my brother and had tacos, rice, and beans. The tongue , carnita, and marinnated pork was great. Rice was alittle plain but service and price was great. I Will come back again and again.
My wife is Korean and we are always on the lookout for great Korean food - this small, family restaurant is incredibly authentic. (I was the only person in the place that was not Korean) - the barbeque pork was amazing - incredibly spicy and flavorful, just the way I love it! The spicy beef soup was perfect, and the black goat was incredible - we will absolutely be back - the kids loved it. There is nothing fancy about this place at all - but the food is incredible if you love Korean cuisine. This restaurant is in the Lakewood area just south of Tacoma, and if you want great, simple, authentic Korean food, then this is well worth the drive to Lakewood!
We live locally and noticed this new Mexican restaurant in place of the previous restaurant (Kevin's). Thought we'd support the community so we stopped in for dinner. Surprisingly awesome! My husband had the cod street tacos and I had a loaded fajita burrito to order. The tacos were similar to street tacos in Bucerias, MX. Several beer options and the wine was Kirkland brand Cabernet Savingnon (thinking a wise choice for a limited list). Margaritas were available, which we'll try on our next visit, unless we decide to opt for delivery?!?!

Fantastic food! I ordered the Chile Relleno. My husband ordered the whole Tilapia fish dinner. I love the variety of salsas that you can choose from on their condiment bar...so convenient and yummy. There can be a bit of a language barrier...

Mazatlan is a nice restaurant that seems to always be crowded. I totally understand. The good is a delicious and the customer service is excellent. Also, the food portions are huge. They have the largest plates on the planet and they fill them as if they are serving sumo wrestlers. If you like Mexican food, this is the place to eat.

I took one of my employees here for lunch and we enjoyed our meal. The food had a tender texture and good flavor. Our server was friendly, attentive and quick.

First: this isn't "real" Mexican food - Tijuana Taco has been around since the 60's and it's an old school take on Mexican food. That said: I love it here. Puffy tacos, chimichangas, enchiladas and burritos stuffed with cheese. If you want an indulgence of an old fashioned Mexican-American meal, this is the place.Cute, little old place, casual. They have a drive-through. Nice staff.
This restaurant has been around the local area for years. It is the Mexican restaurant of choice if you are in the know! It is cozy and delicious. You truly think you are eating in Mexico. Destination restaurant!!!

Most branches of Taqueria El Antojoost are more casual, fast food type spots; this one is sit down with a full bar and it's a nice, inexpensive place for a family meal.I love the fresh tortillas they make here. The Chile Rellenos are very good here as well. They don't always grill their mulitas, so I still prefer El Sabor for that. Solid Lengua and Tripa here. The prices are a little more than other branches of Antojo, probably for the added ambiance, but it's still better than the local El Toro or most other sit down Mexican spots.
