The food is always good and the service is friendly. Nice lunch and dinner menus, but I love the Sunday brunch. Good selection of items with a side of fruit and Champagne too. The bathrooms are clean and the restaurant albeit old is kept clean too.
Consistently good food. Great prices, large variety. My entire family enjoys an occasional Mexican feast. Love the tortas, quesadillas, buritos (large!) and tacos. Their rice is good as well. (I base a good Mexican restaurant by their rice and guacamole qualilty).
We eat at Rosaritas regularly, but over the last few years it seems they have been going downhill. My biggest disappointment is the extra charges. They use to provide chips and salsa to go, now they charge. They also charge for hot carrots which use to be free. They require a $10 minimum to use debit or credit. The food has also lost some of its appeal. The most noticeable thing is the rolled tacos and hot carrots. Rosaritos use to have the best rolled tacos around; lately there is barely any meat in them. The hot carrots are now sliced super thick and are hard and not marinated enough to soften them up - and they charge for them now! We use to not hesitate to go to Rosaritos for Mexican food; now we still go, but we are not as confident about it anymore and we think twice before going. I wish we could get our old Rosaritos back!
I had a couple of friends tell me they were certain I would like the food here, both said they eat here all the time and its very good. I was out running errands before Christmas and ended here as I went through Lakeside, I had one more errand to run but stopped here for lunch. There is plenty of parking, including a large dirt lot next to the shop. It looks like it is a place for large vehicles to park for a little while, There is a small area where you can place your order, but there is a large dining area just pass the cashier area. I went for my usual Carne Asada Burrito and went to the tables while it was prepared. I checked a couple of tables that had been vacated but not cleaned. Some just condensation from the drinks, one still had the trays and wrappers still on it. I found a clean table, my food was brought to me and as the employee left the dining area he cleaned both tables, no real fault of his, the diners could have easily cleaned up after themselves. Now. The burrito definitely worth the money, you cant eat it and leave hungry. Definitely a bargain. The ingredients were fresh and stuffed into the tortilla, plenty of meat but I had three pieces of meat that were really tough, I ended up leaving those. There was a lot of meat in it though, and all but those pieces were very good. Its a little out of the way for me so I wouldn't make a special trip to come here but if I am ever close by and need to stop for lunch. I would eat here again
I've grown up with Roberto's Taco Shops. The food is authentic and delicious! I cannot get the same quality anywhere out here in the South. The best I can hope for us a TexMex type of thing... Thanks Texas... Anyhow, the carne asada burrito and rolled tacos are my favorite items but they have so many other menu items. Be sure to get lots of red hot sauce -they provide it in little plastic cups. Most locations have a walk-up and drive-thru with outdoor seating; some have interior seating as well. The employees are always efficient and very friendly. Note: they only serve Pepsi products along with traditional Mexican refreshments. I only point this out because there IS a difference between diet Pepsi and diet Coke. I can drink either one, but it surprises me when I forget. If you want a lot of delicious, hot, authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price and minimal wait home -this is the place to go!
After ordering from another restaurant and hating the food, I walked over to this taco place and loved their tacos...!!!

Now one would think that since there are so many of these they would all be the same, right? Not so. Somehow certain ones stand out, and this is one. The food is good, as are all Sombreros but this one features a smiling face taking your order and delivering your food. Except for the tiny parking lot, I love this place! Drive through is kind of tight too.
I ate here with a co-worker. You order up front and then sit and they bring your food to you (or, get take-out). The menu is varied. I got a chicken Quesadilla. There is a small salsa bar and they give you chips before your meal. My meal was just how I like it - no extra additives just because... fresh and yummy shredded chicken and cheese in a tortilla. It was very good and just what I wanted. This was my first time here and I will be back.

Always a good time here. The staff is above awesome. The food is very good and very reasonably priced. The margaritas over the top! Great happy hour. Visit once or twice a month and they get to know you by name. They keep the chips and salsa and carrots coming to your table. The place isn't real big so sometimes there's a wait, but the fact that its small ads to the personal service and intimacy.

ur award-winning buffet will take you on an around-the-world culinary journey with a variety of unique destinations â Seafood, Mexican, Chinese, Dim Sum, Mongolian, American BBQ, Rotisserie, Soup & Salad, Omelet & Crepe, Seasons Selections, Ship of Seafoo
This buffet continues to impress us with it's selection and quality. The price is up there, but with a certain number of player points the buffet is half price. At this writing still almost $25 per person. The players points are easy to rack up.The selection....Mexican, Carving, Seafood, Mongolian Grill, Chinese, Barbecue, Sliders, Salad, Sushi Desert, mountains of crab legs, and the night we visited featured a Shrimp dish.Obviously this isn't an every night deal, but well worth a special treat.
