Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made
If you want a good margarita and some decent Mexican food for small/large parties, this is your place. A great place to celebrate birthdays, they have great drinks, appetizers, and Mexican food in a large indoor/outdoor seating area near I-90 northwest of Chicago, IL. Fun for the entire family.
This restaurant has only been open for three weeks but they seem to be already establishing a good following. The entrance is somewhat hidden near an Edward Jones office, Pilates/yoga place and a dance studio. My husband ordered a beer and I had the best margarita I've tasted in a long while. They do not have a bar - just about 8 types of beers and handmade margarita's. They also offer Mexican sodas and normal US pop. I had the chicken fajita's and my husband had a beef entree. Both came with rice, beans and tortillas, were good-sized portions and were fresh and flavorful. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. Prices are average.

We stopped at this Chili's for lunch, as we heard that there were some burger specials. However, when we saw the menu and the boss burger, we decided to try that burger which is smoked brisket, tender rib meat, jalapeno-cheddar smoked sausage, bacon & cheddar with lettuce, tomato, house BBQ & house-made ranch. This is a really big burger, so when we ordered we decided to share it. When the burger arrived, the burger was done exactly as requested - medium rare. But more importantly, there was more than enough for both of us for lunch, that we couldn't find room for dessert, let alone any French fries. The service was very good, We were seated immediately. The price for the quantity and type of burger was quite reasonable.

OK - I've missed seeing this each time I drove down Algonquin Rd - then last Friday I saw it - so we went in! WOW - it's a hidden gem - and you MUST try it. Cafeteria style ordering, then you wait - be patient - each dish is created as needed - killer fresh!! While waiting you receive complimentary chips & salsa. We each ( 4 people) ordered the 2 Taco platter. Grilled chicken, ground beef, Al Pastor & Grilled steak. Absolutely delicious. Rice quite good, I felt the refried beans could have used a little more seasoning. but in all, it was delicious. A steady stream of customers & cooks behind glass wall never rested. It as awesome to watch. Goodbye Tacos el Norte, hello Burrito! Pays to look around & see what's new. We'll be back SOON !!!!

Chipotle is located in front of the Meijer Grocery Store on Randall Road. Upon entering, you order at the counter chosing a Wrap, Burrito, Taco, or Salad entree. Pick your meat-toppings-sauce, (extras include Guacamole) and watch your creation being made. They will walk you through the ordering process if it is your first time and explain what your choices are. We chose a Salad with lettuce, rice, beans, salsa, etc. and a Chicken Burrito loaded with fresh ingredients. It was a perfect, semi-healthy ,fresh, filling lunch. The decor is industrial and offers a dining room with self-serve seating and an outdoor area for dining alfresco. Casual.

As consistent as most McDonald's are, Taco Bell is the same way for Mexican food. They are constantly coming out with new products. I tried the crunchy frito burrito and it was pretty good. Exactly as described. Service was friendly and it was quick. What more can you ask for on a late night snack???

Outstanding food I would call Mexican fusion, which also describes the very cozy interior. The menu is limited but incredibly "curated" awesomeness. Try the very surprising plantains appetizer which takes this staple dish to new heights. The drinks are truly "craft" as well, with unusual combinations. LOVE the interior design which feels like a small boutique location in the city. And guess what? Want to mix it up even further? The staff will bring menu items between El Cochino and Bistro Wasabi. I always loved Bistro but now there's a new reason to stay local.
