The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The staff was helpful and ready to prepare and serve our meals. We had a party of 9 including children we were celebrating a birthday and the staff was amazing, They came out with guitar and large sombrero singing a mexican birthday song!! The food was delicious!Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your wonderful review for Jose's in the Dells, we really appreciate it. We're glad everyone enjoyed the Birthday celebration. Went here with our small family while visiting Wisconsin Dells and ordered a few different things after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. Everything came out in a timely manner and tasted delicious. The portions were filling and we canât complain about the prices. I especially loved the tacos! Our waitress, Marjorie was very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Ate at Qdoba on Sunday, many tables dirty, obvious spill on floor not cleaned up. Sign "Caution Wet Floor" was laid on spill on floor. Soda fountain needed cleaning. Server was very polite, but didn't seem to be trained for his position. Had to look at menu to see what we ordered. A supervisor came to serving line, very quickly listed ingredients of menu item and went into back area. Food was less than I expected for the price. Just cleaning up the restaurant would improve it greatly.

The meals we had on our recent visit were a lot better than the ones we had on our previous visit (two years ago), the service was also better (more attentive), and it looks like the restaurant (especially the washrooms) hot some much-needed updating/remodeling. I'm not sure if this is because of new management or t he old management woke up, but either way after the improvements we've seen on our visit this week we'll definitely give Mexicali Rose another try on our next vacation up there.
