I absolutely love the Moe's Southwest Grill in Lake City. Whether you have been there once or once a day for five years the staff is the best. The food is always fresh and delicious, the restaurant is clean and easily accessible. You probably won't find a better semi-fast food experience in Lake City.

If you are craving for a scrumptious and traditional Mexican food, Costa Del Sol Latin Restaurant is the restaurant to visit! Weâre proud to run the finest and authentic Mexican restaurant in Lake City, FL! Whether youâre craving a mouth watering taco or
Food was great, servers were very friendly. Would be a 5 star rating except they wanted $7 or $8 for chips and salsa. Really? I can see that if you don't order entrees, but we spent $55+ on 3 meals and drinks. We did not opt for the chips and salsa, due to principles. Where we come from, chips and salsa are complimentary.

If you want great Mexican food and lots of it in Lake bCity, FL, then go to El Porto. My wife and I had lunch here today, the service was very prompt and the food was great. I had the enchaladias supreme while my wife chose from the build-your own combination menu. Both meals tasted outstanding and were served very hot. We will definitely go there again and add it to our favorite Mexican style restaurant in Lake City.

We got salsa, cheese dip, and guac with our chips. The cheese dip very bland but good texture, the guac is one of those bright green pureed things that must come out of a tube and definitely never going to go brown...............and good guac should believe me. Taste of guac was very green. We had the carnitas with green sauce and a colorado i think beef dish. The green sauce is strangely tart and tangy almost sour. we took it to go and it kinda wasted away in the fridge. The colorado was interesting and was not bad. It is a version of Mole. The beans are so pureed they just kind of turn into a low profile spread on the token hot hot plate. The rice was ok not bad nothing special. Service was friendly but kinda scattered. Ice tea was normal. The place is loud. The speaker by the cashier station is tinny and overly loud if you are sitting there. They do have what looks like a pretty well stocked full bar!! Thats a plus. All in all its ok. Not overly expensive. Large portions. But when will someone do a Tex Mex with some sense of what the food can be? The tacos served next to us looked good. If we go back we will stick to trying the tacos. NO GREEN SAUCE> If you like the routine boring same ole hot hot plate pureed beans, generic rice, token blob of iceberg lettuce and sour creme in the middle of the plate then it won't disappoint. If you are looking for something that is authentic and less prepackaged you will feel like us..........still wanting a really good Mexican food restaurant locally. And its called Salsas where was the great salsas?
