Small, local favorite that offers the best authentic Mexican food in all of Orange County. This place is amazing. The prices are beyond reasonable for the unbelievable freshness and quality. The service is great. I had a gaggle of little grandkids to feed, so I called and asked for 10 soft tacos with just meat and cheese to go...no lettuce, no sauce, just your basic kid classic. Man, did they deliver! The tender steak was delicious and the homemade tortilla was filled with fresh cheese. These "kids" tacos were so good, that the adults ended up stealing most of them!

Sitting on PCH in South Laguna Beach is this small street style taco shop. Having passed by this place more times than I can count, with my sonâs in town we decided to check out the tacos for a quick bite. Looking over the posted menu we each got a carne asada street taco to hold us over until we stopped at another place for lunch. Listed price for the taco was $2.95 and when presented the total, I did not think twice and paid the amount. The tacos were good, not great and would have been well worth the $2.95. After eating the tacos, I realized that the total amount was much more than what should have been for the 3 tacos we ordered. I asked the nice person inside the window about the price and he said that was for a large taco. OK, no problem but we did not order the large one (did not even see it on the menu) and I thought I should have been told we were getting that size when he took the order (just asked for the carne asada tacos). SO, will I be back, maybe not. Not so much for the up-charge but I find the food across the street at Coyote Grill much better (even if a little more costly).

Sat on a seat on the rail for best view of beaches and Catalina Island. Had afternoon Happy Hour pricing for a good period of time in the afternoon. In time to enjoy a wide variety of drinks. These included Tropical Mojito and Mango Mojito, Voodoo Stout and Left Coast IPA, GL Cab; we also had chips and guac for nutrition. You should always have some nutrition when imbibing. Total coast was around $65, which was worth the sunset and very nice service by a server labeled Lockwood.

Adolfo's is a small, personal and comfortable place near the center of town. The food is fantastic. I had the best Carnitas tacos ever. Fresh, delicious, and they have a great salsa bar. Very fairly priced, and you do not have to wait long for your food. They serve quickly. Have an ice cold beer, and head back to the Baech

Met 3 girlfriends and enjoyed a table with views of ocean. Great margarita selection. Skinny margaritas and one Tamarind. Good pour. The guacamole was creamy and delicious with housemade crispy, hot chips. Trio of salsa provided different heat levels. Two of us had the short rib tacos, served as a trio of street style. Abondigas soup was hearty and tasty. Taco salad was served over a flat rectangular tart shaped pastry. We shared a butter cake for the birthday girl. It was unbelievably good. Service was excellent and full of fun!

Legendary Las Brisas has been southern California's definitive place to enjoy fantastic and resplendent coastal views. The menu at Las Brisas brims with the authentic cuisine of the Mexican Riviera and is filled with recipes discovered along the 3000 mile
Fortunately we got one of the best tables with a beautiful view, it was all downhill after that. The service was terribly slow with the waitress repeatedly forgetting our order and then taking forever return. The margaritas were decent, albeit overpriced, but the food was downright awful. The chips and "salsa" tasted like the salsa was just tomato paste, super sweet and no flavor other than sweet tomatoes. On recommendation of the waitress (I should have known better...) I got the shrimp tacos. I received the pork tacos first on accident, i should have kept those, as they seemed somewhat edible. But then the shrimp tacos arrived, and they were one of the worst things I have ever had. They were just tiny shrimps covered in the aforementioned "salsa" which was super sweet, and then some added chili flakes making them also super hot. I could barely eat a few bites. The high prices would be tolerable if the food was good, as you could argue you are paying for the location, but the prices are completely out of line with what is received. Go pretty much ANYWHERE else in Laguna for a better experience, and just enjoy the same view from the public look-out right next to the restaurant.

It's a chain restaurant and the other locations are in Trip Advisor - just not this one..
My husband and I had lunch at Avila's El Ranchito. The restaurant offered indoor and outdoor seating. We ate outside with a peekaboo ocean view. The service was friendly. The drinks were good and the food was very fresh. The restaurant offered options for everyone, there were even menu items for dogs! We highly recommend the Avocado Bowl!

We have been going to La Sirena for years and the food is always fresh. We have our favorites, mine is the Avocado/lime salad with chicken, others love the enchiladas, quesadillas with chicken, tacos. Their guacamole is excellent. Chips are crisp and fresh. Great staff, lots of smiles. We always order take out but the patio is clean with lots of people enjoying their food.
