Things to do in La Grange
We go to Taco Stop frequently for Taco Tuesday ($.94 tacos). The tacos are very good and taste authentic. It is a family owned restaurant and the lady who runs the counter (owner) is very nice. Their steak and chicken tacos are my favorite. We haven't tried anything other than tacos yet, but I am sure it is very good as well. They seem to take pride in their business. Highly recommend (especially for Taco Tuesday!).

Cafe Salsa is located in Countryside, IL, and we are dedicated to sharing the passion that we have for Mexican food and culture with each and every one of our guests. Therefore, it is our intention to bring the flavors of Mexico to each of you in a friend
We have been going to Cafe Salsa for many years now, and our experience tonight was typical of what we have experienced the other times. We had a very nice water, chips and water came our immediately upon sitting down, and our food arrived quickly once ordered. A great place to relax and have a meal!
We stopped by for quick evening meal. Staff were nice, friendly and helpful, but we were not real impressed with the serving and prices. The little tiny bag of chips was sad, and the extra guacamole was way over priced. If you ever get out west, check out Cafe Rio. Similar format, but much better quality, serving size and price.

I always love the food here. Ask for handmade tortillas and try the chile rellenos. It's a greasy spoon place but it's so enjoyable... I visit almost every trip. The food is the as good as it was a couple years ago but it's still great.

We've gone many times and it seems like it's hit or miss. This most recent dinner, the food was okay - definitely nothing amazing - and the service was lackluster at best. Our waitress didn't really seem to listen when we ordered. We both asked for water and she only brought one to my husband. I ordered a 'double' drink and she didn't have it made as a 'double.' We waited and waited for a chip refill (and later after dinner for the bill) and when we glanced around the restaurant, we saw her sitting in a booth in the far corner chatting with a friend. My husband really likes the margaritas so I'm sure we'll be back, but I sure hope the service is better next time.

My friend who lives in La Grange suggested we check this place out since neither of us has been there before. The atmosphere was very family friendly, wouldn't really suggest this place for a romantic date night. I personally think the food was a little expensive for what you receive. I ordered the appetizer quesadilla with steak as my dinner, and it was $9.I can't rave about my food, but the coconut margaritas were AMAZING! I would return just for those... the food is nothing worth going out of your way for. Next time I think I'll test out their tacos.
