We were looking for a place to eat on a rainy night, with our dog. The Plaza Azteca had a covered outside porch. When we got there, no one was eating on the porch, but they set it up for us, and sent a server. He quickly offered to bring our dog a bowl of water, and a small bowl of chicken! Wow! No one had been that nice to us. Then we ordered our food. We both had a delicious Margarita. I had chicken tacos, and my husband ordered a taco salad. The food was fresh and delicious. It was a great evening, the last one of our trip, and I feel that we ended it in a great way!

Just a nice atmosphere (cool bar) and great beer selection. The food’s pretty good, too, though a little pricey. But, it’s gourmet food, so you’re paying for it.

We stopped in today for fresh made spicy chicken tamales. They were tender and flavorful with a nice zip! We bought their handmade tortilla chips & fresh salsa. These crunchy chips could stand up to your thickest dips. The salsa was fresh and full of flavor! It's a small family style deli with two four-top table and a few tables and chairs outside. Their bakery display has Los of fresh made breads and rolls as well. The counter help is friendly & helpful! We go there every time we're craving good fresh tamales!

My husband and I ate here our first night during our annual OBX vacation. It was our first time here and we were so glad to see they had a vegetarian menu. Husband had the quesadilla and really enjoyed it. I had the empanadas and they were great. I also had the peach margarita - delicious!!! Waiter was very nice - prompt and efficient. My only complaint is that the salsa served with the chips was, to me - soooooo spicy - and they said it was their MILD salsa. YIKES. But we would visit again.

Ate here out of desperation after everywhere else had a 30-45 minute wait. Wished we hadn’t. The place was dirty. The tacos were ok. The “fried rice” looked like a plate of garbage and tasted like it as well. Chips and queso were good, nachos were ok. Service was pretty good. I won’t be returning
