Find out what Mexican restaurants to try in Kazan. On the banks of the Volga River, Kazan sits austerely, its cityscape a visual confection of architecture that somehow manages to be both playful and severe. No matter your spiritual inclination, you simply must visit the Temple of All Religions, a Technicolor cultural center built by artist Ildar Khanov. Though still a work in progress, the "temple" is a feast for the eyes—and the spirit.

Walking around late (22:00) looking for a restaurant that was not fast food in Kazan was not easy, but stumbled across this place, or rather my ears did!Cuban music could be heard down an alleyway with a menu posted on the street, it looked shady, but once inside it was a pretty cool place. Lots of drink options and a decent menu selection.Staff speak a little English, at least enough to order and get by. We ordered steaks and they were perfect! Really good food and service, dancing in the bar if you wanted to and a good vibe. Not a place to really go and talk, but definitely a place to eat and most certainly drink.Richard, hello! Thanks for the tip! We are very pleased! We are glad that you have enjoyed it! Until we meet again!

Smoking Café is a midsized cafe & waterpipe cafe..They don't offer alcohol except some beers..Food is simple bistro style..After trying several places I found here the best Kalian (Russian nane for W.pipe)..Recommended place for relaxing..

True Rock'N'Roll Bar
This place was close to where we were staying so we decided to go out and have a few drinks. The staff speaks English, the drinks are very affordable and the atmosphere what you would expect from a rock bar. Time flies by here so careful down the stairs when you leave. I would definitely recommend.
