Reviews on Mexican food in Huatulco, Oaxaca, Mexico. With nine bays and 36 beaches, Huatulco is ideal for anyone who loves the sun. It's not an overdeveloped resort town, but the hotels are comfortable—even luxurious. Ecotourism is gaining in popularity, so take a break from sunbathing and try river rafting or a hike through the jungle.

Place with Mexican theme (our version), we have the strongly believe that we can mix art (theater, music, painting, literature), with food and with amazing conversation among friends. The essense of our cuisine it's from México city, giving our own touch
The food was excellent and the waiter was very helpful with the menu. Don't be in a hurry. The wait is worth it. For an enjoyable meal and atmosphere, this is the place. We will be back.

This is an upstairs restaurant that is easy to miss. Itâs located near a corner of the zocalo which it overlooks. Nice place to grab breakfast...good food, good coffee, good juices, good selection of food, good service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Prices are a little more than youâd pay in some of the nearby local spots, but they are quite reasonable. Good place to start the day.

Mexican traditional food, with the best quality and taste of the region, with traditional Mexican spices and products, visit us and know the taste of Mexico-Oaxaca.
More of a typical Mexican restaurant, with solid food and cheap. We had the chicken soup, which was great, the flautas, and tostadas, which were very good. They serve beer here too. Meal for four with beer was under $25. Well worth a visit.

The Restaurant Ve el Mar is one of the best options for eating seafood in the Bay of Santa Cruz. It's the only one where you can eat with your feet in the sand and having a full view of the magical scenery that offer the nature. It's a 100% familiar resta
It was quite a surprise when we arrived late on a Tuesday night and were greeted by pleasing staff and delicious food. We enjoyed the whole fried snapper dinner which they brought the freshly caught snapper to our table to pick out which one we wanted and it turned out great. Next time I want to try the stuffed pineapple cooked in the outdoor grill topped with cheese. Great place!Hi @161mr I am so glad you loved our restaurant :) You can always count on fresh and delicious sea food with us. Good choice for your next dinner, the pineapple is one of our best dishes. See you soon then and have a great day! :)

Upon the recommendation of a fellow traveler, I visited El Sabor de Oaxaca for some mole on my recent trip to Huatulco during Holy week in April. El Sabor de Oaxaca is located right in the center of La Crucecita. I ordered the chicken with black mole and it was quite delicious. During my meal, the owner came over and had a great discussion with me about the regional food and the restaurant. Upon his recommendation I also got some amazing mezcal to finish off my meal with. Not disappointed with this meal! I wish i had the appetite to try the Oaxaca food sampler so i could have tried more variety but very happy with this meal. Hope you get to stop in on your next visit to Huatulco!

We wanted to make sure we vistited this little gem of a restaurant before we left so we went early in the evening(by mexico standards) at 6pm because we didnt have a reservation. Isreal met us at the front and warmly invited us in and showed us the immense drink menu. We all ordered a drink, (king sized ) and then all ordered our meals, had appies, I had the bacon wrapped poppers(I could have just sat and ate those all night), nachos and guac, then 3 of us had coconut shrimp and 1 had the fajitas. They were awesome meals, would have liked to have more than the 5 shrimp but they were amazing, should come with a side dish of rice, only had a small bed of shredded lettuce under the shrimp. A little on the pricier side for what you get, but the quality was definitely there.

The food is reliably good and fresh and the service is excellent. The Pay de Maracuya is so good I had it three times in one week. The air conditioning made this a restaurant it was a relief to visit - not just because of the temperature, but also to escape the relentless mosquitoes. An oasis in central Crucecita where you can loiter around the square before and/or after your meal.

Cafe Juanita is located in Marina Chahue. Perfect for having breakfast or lunch with a view of the water. Our food is local, fresh and delicious.
We just return. We ate there twice but the Friday's fish tacos was the best we had over the last two weeks. How do you go wrong eat 3 fish tacos ( and they are very good) with a cold beer for 100 pesos.

We are aimed at the general public that likes good food, healthy enviroment and music from the 70's 80's and 90's. Our kitchen with 100% mexican style guarantees the good flavor and seasoning of our varied saucer. You can enjoy a varied menu where our mai
We decided to come here after making a web inquiry and receiving an immediate response. Great effort is made to great customers at the door and explain the menu items. The decor and ambiance is more trendy and north american than the Mexican style we usually visit. Very clean and bright with swings on the outside by the open window, also an airconditioned section.Retro chicken soup had a good broth but was out done by the large amount of noodles. The pork tacos were stuffed with perhaps too much flavourful shredded pork, and just a bit of pickled red onion on the side. This would be great for meat lovers but I would have preferred less meat and perhaps some shredded lettuce or something..The server was always checking on everything and very friendly.Staying at Villablanca this is a nice place close by.
