They have foreign currency (bills & coins) under the glass on each table, their are lively decorations on the wall, and they serve a coconut milk juice in an actual coconut. The food was very good. They have homemade corn tortillas. We got the mole platter, vegetarian tamales (excellent), beef and shrimp tacos, and a dish of rice and beans. All were delicious. One of our group had real Mexican beer and we ordered 2 real Mexican hot chocolates.Waitress service was OK. The only drawback about this place was that the bathrooms are not heated. We were there when it was 40 degrees outside, so it made for an interesting experience. The price is reasonable for good Mexican food. This is a nice place.

Visited on a rainy Saturday night. The restaurant was neat in the room arrangement. The service good and prompt. The Margarita's were weak and lacked flavor. The chips were a little stale and salsa was too mild. The food was just OK but not great. We will definitely look for better.

Headed for our anniversary lunch. I ordered Veggie fajitas, husband had shrimp quesadillas and son ordered a San Antonio Burrito. We all loved our dishes. You can also request hot salsa if you are like su and like spicy food.Just keep in mind lunch Menu is not served on Sundays.Little expensive as compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area but quality is good. Ended us spending 50 dollars for three people. Bought back dome left overs, just enough to snack on.They have a option of low fat cheese and also some low fat choices in their menu.
This building has gone through many different businesses and this is the first one that looked inviting enough for me to try it. I'm so glad I did! Their pupusas were great and reasonably priced, their fried plantains were awesome, chips and salsa were fresh and hot, and the offer enormous layer cakes that are homemade. Inside, there are a small number of tables and it's very clean and bright so it was very inviting. The owner was knowledgeable about what he had to offer and looked well organized and professional, but friendly. We will be going back regularly!

While on travel we stopped for gas at this exit and decided to grab some food. My son and husband chose KFC and I opted for Taco Bell, this satisfied everyone since it had both! The ladies restroom did need some attention but service at the counter was excellent on the day after Christmas.
