Siji was our attentive server and he did a great job. He recommended the Veggie Burrito and it was delicious! The warm chips were wonderful, as was the salsa. My Margarita was very good, too. It wasnât made with cheap Tequila. It wasnât noisy and the place is attractively decorated.I will definitely return when in Duluth!

Service was great and the food was mostly okay but at home in Winnipeg we have a local place of the exact same style that is better in almost every way. The guacamole was excellent but the chips were far too salty and everything else was just average.

Even the chips and salsa were blah. There was also a fried bean dip that was really runny. When the meals came, this same runny fried bean whatever was served. None of it looked good even before ordering and wasn't when we received it. I ended up ordering a cheeseburger. The French fries were soggy. The burger was meh! My favorite Mexican food is flautas and theirs were not made like any others I've had nor the ingredients I used when making my own.No one else at our table of 8 seemed impressed either.Service was pretty slow.

At Taco John's®, we serve traditional Mexican food-with a twist. By fusing bold American flavors with south-of-the-border spice, we've defined our signature menu. From our trademark Potato Olés® and freshly prepared tacos to our infamous breakfast burrito
Taco John's has been one of my go-to fast food stops since 1969 when I lived in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the birthplace of Taco John's. Menu items have come and gone, but they still have enough good things to make it hard for me to choose each time I stop. The layout of this TJ is not normal at all. It's one of the few that I've ever seen where the dining area is around the corner and therefore out of sight from the counter and kitchen. I kind of like that. It's usually (bit not always) clean in the dining area. They usually (but not always) come around to ask if everything is all right with your meal. For fast food, this is a good place.
