Big, spacious restaurant, a wonderful place to host an informal event.Great, friendly staff. The Super Burrito is a must. It was the best Mexican food I had during my week in the Bay Area.It is a great value at only $5.95, a meal in itself. Take a bottle of their "secret sauce" - their famous "Orange Sauce" home for just $6 for a twelve ounce bottle.I had a Peach Fresca to drink- and that was a nice change. My son has been coming here for four months and loves this place.
Best taqueria in the bay area. Shredded chicken burrito is my favorite. They know how to "build" a proper burrito by placing the ingredients in the proper position and proportion and most importantly knowing how to wrap it properly. This results in a burrito that offers every element with every bite in addition to excellent ingredients.I've been to all the so called best places in the bay area from oakland, sf, sj, and everywhere in between. Been to all the burrito and food blogs. This place is by far the best.
As far as i can judge, this is authentic mexican. taste was very good, food is simple but well prepared and no concessions made to adapt to american or other flavors.very nice experience !

We LOVE this little taqueria! They have the utmost best burritos and salsa anywhere. Also, their tacos are the bomb. We go here regularly and have never had a less than delicious meal. There is no seating, it is strictly walk up/ drive through. The line of cars is usually long, but they are fast and the wait is well worth it.

Excellent Mexican Grill Taqueria and Catering in downtown Hayward 94541
Location: Near southland mall, in the small plaza where Panda Express and GameStop is at. If you are at Kohls at the mall it is directly in front of you across the street!Customer Service: They're great, very nice and the food comes fast!Decor: They have the mini salad bar type thing which most taquerias have, soda machine fountain, booth like tables.Presentation of Food: Anything you would expect at a taqueria. How did the food taste?: SO GOOD. My favorite is probably their seafood soft tacos! The shrimp soft tacos are soooo good they are cooked to perfection along with their fish soft tacos! I can't get enough!!! Their shrimp ceviche is soooo fresh as well! Overall Experience: Great!Would I Come Back?: Yes!!!!! If I lived closer if probably be here all the time!
Their generous sized burrito is good for two meals. Enjoyed their salsa bar.A favorite place among family and friends, an alternative to the offerings at the food court at Southland Mall.

If you dare to adventure away from the normal touristy burritos and chimichangas, which they also have, and try the goat birria, the barbacoa or the pozole, all specialties of the mexican Altiplano, you will not be disappointed. Flavors are delicate and intricate and I can also vouch for their authenticity. The downside? Tortillas are not the best, but they are very doable. (I bring my own)....

A little pricey but I still have to rate the food.I had a menudo and it had a lot of tripe which is good, but I don't have the acquired taste for it.The wife you had a pork quesadilla and it was just the right size and she said it was surprisingly good.

I ate one of the most amazing wet burritos I have ever consumed. It's a wonderful restaurant with friendly staff and great food. I highly recommend giving it a try.
