I've been here many times. It is a locally-owned business, and the owner is usually always there when we've been there and sometimes comes out to greet the customers and ask how the food is. Oftentimes when we go in they are not busy at all. I think Friday night may be their busiest time and even then it isn't overly crowded. The food is pretty consistently the same. It is good food, but it is like the Americanized version of Mexican food. If you like lots of spice, you probably won't like it so much. I like their quesadillas, but I usually dip them in the salsa for some extra flavor. The salsa is very mild and tomatoey. It is good salsa but is different than most other salsas you will get when eating out. When I get beans and rice here, I usually mix them together and eat it, and this is the only place I've done that. The rice is way too dry and flavorless for me by itself. I know of someone that told them that, and they said it is that way because people complained before about it being too spicey. I'll probably keep going back once in awhile when I'm in the mood, but this isn't the best place for authentic Mexican food in my opinion.

Stopped in early Sunday evening based on number of cars in parking lot, turned out that was all staff. We were starving, so it tasted pretty good, and service was okay. My wife and I had the Tacos Carne Asada and they did pretty good. My 9 year old wanted fries with his taco, they tasted terrible. The Tacos Carne Asada came with beans and cheese, a new twist for us. Meat was finely cut and very bland. Sauces and Pico changed that though. Chips were a little stale.
Sitting here âstuffedâ after having lunch at Primos. Our second visit , we were again delighted with both food and service. Located in a smaller building recently vacated by a popular local Mexican restaurant, and with Harrison having no shortage of Mexican restaurants, we were skeptical. But the restaurant does not come with inexperience, as several of Primos staff have had previous experience with the popular restaurant whose building they now occupy. Theyâve taken the menu up a notch from typical Mexican offerings. My first entree, the spinach quesadilla, was one example of an improved and different presentation. The tortillas were perfectly prepared, and were beyond generously stuffed with spinach and cheese. Their queso âcheese dipâ is white and thicker than comparable restaurants, and their salsa (with noticeable fresh cilantro, chopped onion, etc) is delicious. Everything else weâve ordered, including soft tacos and a fajita chimichanga, has been amazing, and served with a smile. Staff seem genuinely customer focused. Today we were offered fresh chips to go with the queso we took home. Portions are generous and the price is right! You may already have an established loyalty with one of the other local Mexican restaurants, but you will be missing out if you donât give Primos a try!

One of our fave entrees at Nopalitos is Tacos Camarones! With keen competition among several Mexican restaurants here in Harrison, it's important to find fave entrees at the really good ones - especially at this restaurant, which has an extensive menu of various Mexican fare. This entree is generously portioned, with toppings and sides taking up most of the table space at our fairly roomy booth! Deliciously seasoned medium-sized shrimp on warm tortillas, with spicy sauce, lettuce, and fresh pico de gallo, accompanied by a large bed of tasty, fluffy Mexican rice will leave you full, whether lunch or dinner! Fresh cilantro makes their salsa iteratively, along with their warm and thin, salted tortilla chips. Friendly service, reasonable prices! Offered "sodas to go", which is always a kind gesture. Try Nopalitos and find your fave entree(s)!

Consistently good Mexican food. Extensive food menu. Great service and super friendly staff. We like the way there is always a ton of staff and everyone is running around helping each other out to serve their customers. Only drawback here is they do not serve alcohol, unfortunately no beer or margaritas. We have dined here many times. We always eat at least once when we stay in Harrison to ride the beautiful area on the motorcycle.
