After sampling many items on the menu, I have decided that the quesadilla and the burrito are my favorite. I would say if you have any experience with chicharrones, you should skip them at this restaurant. I'm used to them being crispy and salty, these were just like globs of fat. My favorite meat at the restaurant: Carnitas, but the chicken and Carne Asada are also good. If they would serve chilli relleno, I would be in heaven! They also have a liquor license and can serve alcohol. While it may look like it's not much from the outside, inside it's full of delicious, authentic. and affordable food.

Stopped here on our way through Ohio. It was like stepping back into the 1980s with outdated decor and filthy. There was also supposed to be a pizza hut inside this location but you couldn't tell, there was just a pizza advertisement hanging from the ceiling, there was no menu. The service was slow and everyone that was working there seemed to be a little shady. I guess the best thing I can say is that all of their tatoos were spelled correctly. The food itself was decent, typical taco bell. Do not go into the bathrooms, this place makes a roadside truck stop seem like the taj mahal. I don't think the bathrooms had been cleaned in ages. The sinks were black with dirt, faucet handles were broken and there were sticky floors with a black moldy substance in the corners on the tiles. I'm surprised this place is allowed to stay open. In the dining room ceiling tiles are water stained and the tables and chairs were that cheap plastic that was typical in the 80s. If you are driving through town choose any other place to eat, there are plenty of other options.

A kitchen that knows its way around a fairly large menu. Large portions and more than reasonable prices. Attentive and friendly service. Warm chips and a respectable salsa. House-made flour tortillas. Several dining rooms and a patio for warmer weather. What's not to like about this restaurant? We've had three meals here now and have been impressed each time. Lots of choices for the soft tacos served on corn tortillas (the lengua â beef tongue â is highly recommended). The chile relleno is one of the best I've had since leaving New Mexico. Pescatarians, meanwhile, have a number of seafood dishes from which to choose and vegetarians have plenty of choices, as well. There's a nice selection of bottled and draft beers and El Pedregal is one of the few Mexican restaurants in the area to offer horchata, a refreshing drink made of rice, milk and cinnamon and other spices.Weekends bring in the crowds, and rightly so. And beware that reservations are not accepted on weekend evenings. If you like Mexican food, this should be on your radar.

Typical chain Mexican food. Sorry but I just wasnât impressed with the bland salsa, bag tortilla chips and tons of shredded iceberg lettuce. Perhaps this passes for âauthentic â here but I found it very bland and overpriced, sorry. Wait staff were super nice though.

The typical wait in the drive through is around 20 minutes and that's not an exaggeration. Couple weeks ago I thought I'd try going inside to order thinking it would be faster. Nope, still 20 minutes. Really wish they had better service since it's the only Taco Bell in the area.
