We were a group of 25 people, who dropped in unexpectedly for dinner - no reservations. Yikes! They seated us promptly without panic. Everyone enjoyed their meal and for the most part, it was handled efficiently. Service was outstanding. There are very few places in Fremont, NE that can handle large groups let alone without knowing about it ahead of time. We all had a great time. Didn't feel rushed at all. The menu is huge and my only suggestion is to par it down or simplify it in some manner.

Each Order is made from scratch!! We have our own salsa bar. Small Mexican/Central American restaurant
O.K this place just opened 2 weeks before I went there but this is the second location. Food is the best hands down in Fremont, as far as Mexican food. Have friends that drive from Omaha regularly to eat here, they eat steak tacos. I had beef burrito with lime sauce wow was it great.

Gringo's Cantina, in Fremont, NE, is the premier restaurant serving Fremont, Omaha and surrounding areas since 1985. We are proud of our special version of Southwestern dishes, personalized service and unique south-of-the-border flair. For your next meal,
Food was sub par and over priced for something that just gets reheated in the microwave. The Chili Relleno was folded into a tortilla and then fried. This wasn't much of a Chili Relleno as it was a Chili Chimichanga. The chicken taco wasn't very good either. My view from the bar showed that their kitchen was pretty derived of microwaves.
I really enjoy the pizza here. The crust is thinner and not bready. I don't eat the Mexican, but my family really likes it. I don't stay away from the Mexican because I don't like it, I can't order anything but the pizza. I don't get to eat here as often as I would like.
