Should have known something was up when we walked in the door. 7pm on a Friday and the place was dead. Since Fredericksburg is a tourist town they should expect many first timers. We entered and waited to be seated. Then we noticed the seat yourself sign pushed to the side. We seat ourselves. We order. Still no chips and salsa. We keep looking to get the attention of someone. The wait staff is just having conversations. The cook notices us and let's the staff know we need something. Finally chips and salsa. Chips tasted like they came from a bag. Salsa from a jar. I had a beef taco, beef enchilada and a chili rellano. Beef was flavorless. What saved the enchilada was the sauce. The stuffed pepper tasted like it had been frozen. Beans and rice were average. My wife had a shredded chicken chimichanga. It had a white queso sauce. Now it was very good.

This is not the upscale Trois Estate restaurant near Enchanted Rock... don't be confused. But, it is in the same area and is a yummy family Mexican restaurant... a bit of a hole in the wall... but it looked clean and the food was delicious. No liquor, so only wine margaritas and beer.

Stopped in for a late lunch while visiting Fredericksburg. I had the chicken salad sandwich and hubby had the chicken wrap. Both of us had fries which were some of the best Iâve ever had. Both sandwich and wrap were delicious! The staff was great and the place was very clean.

La Tequila Jalisco has an extensive menu and fast service. We all ordered the beef crispy corn tacos with rice and beans. The taco meat had a good flavor but too greasy for us. The red salsa was hot, spicy and very good. Their full bar offers a nice selection of tequila and Mexican beer. Itâs a good place to satisfy the Mexican Food craving and weâll give them another chance and try the cheese enchiladas next time.

We decided to eat here from TripAdviser reviews. I will say the freshly made tortilla chips were good! The salsa, however, we squirted from a condiment bottle! To say it was watery and thin is an understatement. We frequently order fajita quesadillas which we did here. It was the driest quesadilla I have ever had! It was terrible. I do not recommend this restaurant and am about to give up on othersâ reviews!

Tucked away off main street and with limited hours, this restaurant features a somewhat limited menu of sandwiches, soups, salad, and a few Mexican dishes. They also have a nice array of desserts available. Sit in the cozy dining room and appreciate the artwork for sale or on the shaded patio and enjoy the live music. Some alcohol is offered (margaritas!) but I didn't see a full bar or bar menu.The chicken salad sandwich was very good and served on delicious bread made fresh in-house. My husband enjoyed the basic nachos which used freshly made tortillas for the tortilla chips.This eatery seems to be open limited hours, primarily for lunch.

Our first visit was for dinner on a Saturday evening.We went early so it was not crowded. Service was excellent. Food was amazing!I had chicken poblano enchiladas.They were over the top delicious!!My husband had fish and chips. And they were wonderful!The serving was very generous.We enjoyed it so much we went back for brunch!!!!

I ordered a frozen margarita and it was perfect, then I got the fajitas and I couldn't even come close to finishing them even though I was loathe to not do so. I ordered the enchiladas for the wife and she says they were great as well. If I had to complain about anything, I would say the that the only thing I could do with out was the beans. They were incredibly bland compared to the rest of the food. Is like someone boiled them from the bag and served then up... no seasoning at all?? But the rest of the meal was delightful.

We enjoyed the chips, salsa and green sauce! Then we enjoyed tortillas, enchiladas, tamales, beef tacos and tacos Al carbon! The margarita and beer were also very refreshing after a long hot day in Fredericksburg! We will definitely visit this restaurant again!
