Stopped by here for a quick lunch with my teenage daughter and her three friends. The girls had fun picking from the large variety of unique tacos and enjoyed taking pictures with the painted walls in the background :) We were there on Taco Tuesday and enjoyed the chips/queso special (also got guac) and a couple of the girls chose the tacos that were on special too so that saved us some $$! The girls devoured the queso and said it was some of the best they'd had. I had the fried green tomato taco and it was to die for...amazing flavor. I was a bit disappointed that the Carolina Reaper salsa wasn't spicier...was bracing myself for the spiciest salsa I've ever had and to me it wasn't even spicy at all! Anyway, this place is great and I'm going to spread the word...epic tacos for sure. Thanks for the great review! We're so happy to hear you and your entire party had a great time! Come back and see us anytime! And thanks for spreading the word!

Wife and I frequent the Cancun Restaurant in Crescent Springs a lot. I know this review is listed under the Cancun Restaurant at the Newport Shopping Center, but the river location is new and nothing is listed for it yet. Tonight, we wanted a slightly different atmosphere and wanted to eat along the river. This place was the old Don Pablos, which the only thing it had going for it was the view and setting on the river. Antonio, the owner of the Cancun chain, put some money into this place to clean it up, change the outside seating to be more accommodating and some good remodeling. The place is very nice. And the atmosphere outside is SO relaxing. Then thing that was added was an overhead awning over a large portion of the seating area to keep weather (sun, rain) off while dining. That was a major improvement. The food is delicious as always. Tonight we tried something a little different than our normal chimichangas - we ordered the flautas with rice and beans, and we shared it because we were both not terribly hungry. Delicious as always. Service was a little slow but that was ok tonight as we were looking for a relaxing evening and no time frame to be anywhere else. Our waiter however, did come back to the table right after we received our food, but never again. Refills on the drinks and chips would've been nice without having to ask at the end. But that's a minor point.

A couple of friends told us about El Rio Grande in Newport so we decided to try it out. The bottom line is that there are probably four Mexican restaurants equal to or better than El Rio Grande. The atmosphere was nice, the Margaritas were good, and the food was decent enough, but there just wasn't anything special to pass up the four Mexican restaurants closer to us.

We visited Nada for my daughterâs birthday dinner. The guacamole, queso, and different salsas were very good. My daughter and I shared a trio of tacos, her fiancée ordered tacos as well. My husband had an entree which he enjoyed. The chips are addictive. Our server was excellent and so sweet to bring a plate of churros with a candle to wish my daughter a happy birthday. Much appreciated

I was looking for Mexican food and it seems that Mexican isnât too widely available in Cincinnati (except of course fast food). I found La Mexicans on Trip Advisor and TA once again was spot on!To start, friendly staff, clean but, it was a bit of a âhole in the wallâ - donât let that scare you!Chips and salsa- some of the best Iâve ever had. Light crispy chips and salsa was medium spice and excellent consistency. I had tacos (it was $2 tacos Tuesday). Chicken tacos were excellent. Nice flavor and lots of cilantro and other fixins. I will definitely return.

Well executed menu, all around tasty options. Prices are a little high but I feel that I get what I pay for when you look at all the elements such as speed of service, quality of food and cleanliness of the establishment. All those combined make me feel better about spending $5 of a taco. Their sister restaurants Krugerâs and The Eagle are also great options right there if youâre looking for more of an American fare. This area gets busy so itâs good to have a backup option nearby.
