Mexican food can be ok, or it can be very good. We've tried it in Florida, Mexico, New York, and now Southampton, PA. Overall, for the food, ambiance and service, Las Margaritas is a top contender. It is a family -owned business run with pride. If really good Mexican food served in a beautiful and delightful setting is what you're looking for, Las Margaritas is the place to go in Southampton, PA. They also offer numerous meeting rooms, and have latin dance lessons in their nightclub located on the lower level. We are looking forward to our next meal and dancing at Las Margaritas!

Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made
Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and efficient and food was decent and reasonably priced for a chain Mexican restaurant. Margaritas were a little pricey. Chips and salsa (very spicey) served at table. Nice selection of all the normal americanized Mexican foods, burritos, fajitas, nachos, combo playters, etc. portions are good.

So we get a late night craving and want Taco Bell after seeing the commercial for the Smothered Burrito. We opt to go inside, but the first door we tried was locked. It was about 9:30 so we knew they were still open. We tried the other door and went it. The first thing I saw were chairs up on tables, and about 5 people waiting around for their order. We were next in line. It was 9:42 when our order was placed. At 10:10 we got our food - 30 minutes later! i asked where my box for the 5.00 box was and the order taker said that they were out of boxes. I said, "I'm not surprised".The staff seemed to be handing all of the drive thru orders first. Our order came with a drink, so we go to the soda fountain and Scott says, there is no ice. I go to the counter and ask if there is any ice and she said that their ice machine was broken. We ordered a 5.00 box and some other items. We started to gather our condiments as we waited for our food, but there were no napkins and no mild sauce. One of the people in front of us finally got his food and left. He came back in about 10 minutes later and wanted to speak to the manager. Apparently being of Indian descent he and his family could not eat meat and that's what their tacos had in them. He was talking to the manager and I heard her say "What do you want me to do? We're human, we make mistakes." She did not offer a refund to them, but when they did ask, she gave them their money back. Bottom line, we did not want to eat our "fast food" at 10:30 but that's what time it was when we started eating. I called the number on the receipt to report them. Won't be eating here anytime soon.

This Baja Fresh location just opened within the last few months at 551 E Street Road in Trevose and it is not far from Route 1 and the Pennsylvania turnpike and is easy to get to. This is located in a new shopping center that was just built and Baja Fresh is currently the only tenant in the shopping center at this time but that will soon change as other tenant spaces are being made ready for other tenants to move in.Baja Fresh offers freshly made Mexican cuisine including tacos, burritos, salads, fajitas and quesadillas. This location is actually the closet one to where we live as other locations near us have closed recently. The guacamole is made fresh daily and is delicious and the chips that you get your meal are good as well and not too salty. Here are the burritos that they offer.MexicanoBajaUltimoNachoVeggieYou can get your choice of chicken, steak, shrimp, port carnitas, wahoo and veggie with your tacos and baja bowls. The food here is very good and made fresh to order. I would recommend trying any of the items on the menu including the quesadillas, fajitas or any of the burritos. I prefer the Baja burrito which has pico and guacamole with your choice of meat and it is excellent. I also love the chicken fajitas and you can get flour or corn tortillas with this meal along with pinto or black beans and rice. There are also several salads to select from including the toastada and baja ensalada salad as well as the Baja BBQ chicken salads and grilled shrimp chile lime salad.Kid's meals include for $ 5.29 the following items: chicken taquitos, cheese quesadillas or bean and cheese burritos. The menu prices are very reasonable overall with the most expensive item for the shrimp quesadilla coming in at $ 10.79. Most of the entrée prices range from $ 6.99 up to $ 9.49.We will be visiting this Baja Fresh again in the near future and I would recommend visiting this Baja Fresh for lunch or dinner.
