I have eaten at Cancun several times & it just gets worse every time I go. I like the atmosphere for long secluded talks with friends, so I keep trying to like the food...but NO more! This time I had the taco fiesta salad with chicken. It was completely tasteless. The beans & chicken had NO flavor. The salsa was nice & spicy so I poured the whole bowl onto my salad & that wasn't even enough! To top it off they had raised their prices so my salad was $9.25! Much better food anywhere!!! Even Taco Bell beats them in authenticity!! Try ANYWHERE else!!
Dine in or take out.As is the case for the neighboring Cancun Restaurant, unfortunately, "Authentic" means you might get lots of fat and knuckles in the chicken dishes, hot indoor dining in the summer, and hit/miss service...just like middle-brow dining in Mexico. Unlike the Cancun neighbor, however, it is OK to drink the water. Cancun's water is straight, highly chlorinated, Escalon city water.

After driving for 6 hours, we wanted to grab a bite and decided on Taco Bell in Escalon for the first time. It was a good choice, very friendly staff, genuinely kind and the restaurant itself was clean and the food was ready in a few minutes. It was fresh and tasteful, even for my vegetarian taco ;)Thanks Mike from the crew, you'll never make us forget Taco Bell again. Cheers.
I stopped here for a quick lunch while at a customer site. When I came in, it wasn't clear if you were seated or ordered and then found a seat. After placing my order, there was a problem with the credit card machine and the cashier was a bit flustered by it. Fortunately, she ran the order after I was seated and everything was fine. The food was good, including the chips and salsa, which were really tasty. The decor was warm and tasteful, too. I would probably go here again.
