Go here! Ask for Ricardo and tell him Mark sent you! Youâre golden! Great guacamole, awesome margaritas and fajitas...but go BIG and try a Chelada. Like beer and Bloody Maryâs? This is your new fave!
We had read a review of the restaurant and were looking for an opportunity to visit the place. It is right on the main street at the very west end of town. Not the tres chic section but an area of many ethnic restaurants. The interior is not fancy but clean and diners are hard working people looking for a good meal. Definitely a place to check out the dishes. The waitperson was friendly but had little to say about the choices on the menu except to ask if we had questions. The chips and salsa were not remarkable in any way. The salsa did have some spice to it and was fresh but no outstanding flavors. We started with an appetizer of Tlacoyos de Frijol, It was three crispy corn tortilla with marinated steak, cilantro, beans, cheese and onions, The tortillas were very crisy and the steak was grilled perfectly with a meaty flavor accented by the marinade. The set of three was enough for a full dinner, We both chose a chicken dish as entree. My dish was a chicken mole with beans and rice. The mole sauce was deep, complex and with a nice spicy undertone. The beans and rice did not do justice to the care taken in making the mole. My wife's choice was chciken with pumpkin seed sauce. The chicken was tender but the pumpkin seed sauce was not to her taste. The sauce was rich and did have a clear taste of the pumpkin seed and is unique in its appeal. We decided to have the flan for dessert. Definitely, a good decision. It was rich and creamy and prefectly cooked. A must try. For an early Saturday evening, there were only a few dinners in the place but they seemed to be enjoying it as well. They have a large menu selection and will provide some excellent dining on future visits.

This restaurant makes "East" food, as in Sushi, grilled fish, soups- and "West" food - as in tacos, fajitas. My favorite sushi is the spicy avacado dumpling. It's a roll made without rice, but has spicy tuna and avacado rolled around it. Their black cod is really good, too. They also make great Tex Mex. They soft taco is home made- no one else around here has them. The shrimp with jack cheese is delicious! Tonight I had the tex mex chili tacos.Prices are reasonable, and they have economical lunches, sushi and Bento boxes.Very clean and the staff is nice.
No frills mexican tacos. Handmade, soft corn tortillas with your choice of meat, cilantro and onions. That's it. The 3 common meats to choose from are Carnitas (pork), Al Pastor (pork) and Pollo (chicken). I usually get the first two. They also have other meats to choose from such as grilled shrimp, fried shrimp, etc. There are other options as far as tacos as well as burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, tortas, and the tasty flautas. The 2 sauces that they give you with your tacos are good too. The red sauce is a little spicy so watch out!

I stop by on the way home from work and pick up a burrito for my husband. They are huge, somewhat healthy, fresh and satisfying. Certainly makes my life easier!

For the second time large catering order delivered missing multiple items, including the chips! It really should not be all that difficult to check off ALL the items ordered as the order is packed. By the time the second delivery was made the previously lukewarm food was cold. I stopped going to the restaurant due to lack of attention to detail and not surprised that this lack of attention bleeds into packing take out; this was our last catering order from them. Note: if you are going to place a catering order, portions are skimpy. We're done.
