We stopped here for a break going from Reno to SLC. It looks recently remodeled and at the time we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness. The customer service was pretty good, I saw one attendant bring a customer order to their table. Unfortunately, whatever I ate really upset my stomach and I was sick for a day Or so. Typically, food poisoning starts at least 24 hrs after you eat, but mine started within 7 hours of eating.

I am a regular at many Costa Vida locations. I live in the Salt Lake area and prefer Costa Vida to its similar competitor Cafe Rio. However, this location was slow, disorganized, and not terribly clean on the "line". I asked the manager working the line if things were a little crazy. She replied things were going smoothly. Either she's never been to another location that runs smoothly, or her standards of "things going smoothly" is unlike what I've seen in most similar styled restaurants. While 3 of us were waiting to order and receive our food, three employees were standing by the cash register. Not only were we waiting, but there were many tables that needed cleaning. Also, the rest room was gross. It wasn't that busy either.

I decided to stop and have some dinner at this place. It looked like a nice mom & pop traditional Mexican restaurant. I must admit the place was busy and smelled very good when I walked through the door. The young lady who took my order was friendly and efficient. There was a little wait to get my meal, but given the amount of customers it was still fairly quick. When I got my carne asada plate I was impressed with the amount of food I received for the price. The taste was good, not great, but good.

Stopped to get donuts for the office, was pleasantly surprised by the price and the freshness, very nice variety. They have a lot of very nice produce for much more reasonable prices than the grocery stores, also have the extra large tortillas for making big burritos at home

It's been there (across from BJ Bull) under a big tree for a long time.Good for quick bite. Outdoor dining, a few plastic chairs and some cinder blocks acting as temporary tables.It's basically fast food from a truck.

We recently traveled through Elko and stopped at Costa vida because we are familiar with their food. We prefer it over taco bell or taco johns or taco time any day.We were pleased to find the same quality of food and great service as well.

This restaurant has it going on! The salsa has a lot of spicy flavor. They serve bean dip along with the chips and salsa. The margaritas were really really good !! The portions were large and had a lot of flavor. Our service was fantastic! Alejandra was our waitress and she rocked it !! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Mexican food, great margaritas and awesome service ! 5 stars for us *****

Very busy restaurant. Lots of menu choices. However, the quality of the food was subpar. The burrito was soggy, the refried beans were bland, and the margarita was watery. The chips and salsa were good. They serve a lot of food, but the quality certainly needs improvement.

I asked a local for the best Mexican restaurant and was referred here. I was not disappointed. The menu was extensive, the service attentive and the food excellent. I ordered the shredded beef tacos. They arrived stuffed with tasty beef and dressed with lettuce, tomato, and cheese in crispy corn shells. The 3 tacos were resting on a bed of rice and refried beans co pleted the presentation
