Rickyâs has my most absolute favorite Pork Tacos. It is a very tiny restaurant in an area not known to the be the best in Elkhart but donât let that fool you! Their food is outstanding. We usually call ahead for pick up. We feed our family if three, with leftovers for $20. Rickys also has a food truck at the Elkhart County Fair. Regardless, check them out!!

We moved here from Colorado about 8 months ago where good Mexican restaurants are on every corner. Until we ran across El Maguey we were pretty disappointed with what the area had to offer. This place is by far the best in the Elkhart area.

Ten years ago when we used to live in Elkhart we loved this restaurant. The food was excellent and so was the service. We were disappointed that the food declined but happy the service was still excellent. The food was still very good just not as good as before.

Chicagoans visiting the area, and found this gem after visit to Lintons Enchanted Gardens for Easter. Wonderful service - our server was attentive even though he had over active 7 tables. Food was much better than an average local Mexican restaurant we would normally frequent. Margarita on the rocks was tasty, lots of options for tacos and they have diced marinated chicken instead of shredded chicken (a rare find!), salsa, white queso, and the salads were all a hit with our group. Highly suggested!
