We are a full-service Mexican restaurant. Dine in or carryout service. Sit on our new outdoor patio and enjoy the ocean breeze. We are open 7 days a week, just steps from the beach. Mi Mexico now offers a full bar and has the best margaritas in town! Oper
The food here is pretty good. So I tried the margarita. They poured the mix from a plastic jug on the counter. Not even cold. Mix is probably from powder. No lime tang to it. Very bland overall. VERY DISAPPOINTING! And the price was $6.99. Horrible!

It was just ok. Cheese enchiladas were tough. Rice was crunchy and inedible. Strawberry margarita was just sugar and puréeâIâm not sure if they even had tequila in it. Far better Mexican at home. The bright spotsâeasy to get a table and the service was really good. Kids loved the chips and salsa.

This is our 3rd visit and weâre hooked! Everytime the food, margaritas, beer on tap, and service have been perfecto! We had a huge bowl of fresh guacamole, chips, and homemade salsa to start with. Then we had sizzling hot yummy fajitas and brought some home for the leftovers. Lunch for tomorrow is gonna be sooo good. I had a skinny margarita and he had the blood orange margarita! Yum! Food came out so fast and drinks cold but not too icy.

This property has been through several restaurants over the last few years. None have succeeded and I don't think Molcajete will either. We arrived at 18:00 to find the spot about 60% full. We were first in line at the reception desk, but when the hostess finally arrived she took the people behind us first. Must have been regulars. No special feeling lost here. The decor of the place is greatly improved over resent attempts. Nice lighting and the requisite Mexican colors abounded throughout. Our excellent server, Eric Lopez, greeted us with a bowl of fresh salsa and chips for dipping. He took our orders for two medium beers which turned out to be humongous. The wife picked the POLLO CON MOLE - "Unique Blend of Spices, Chiles, Nuts & Mexican Chocolate made into a Flavored Sauce. Then Smothered on Grilled Chicken. Served w/Rice& Beans." We have had this dish several times in Mexico. This version did not live up to our expectations as to chocolate nuance with a touch of spice. It was actually quite bland. The plate was hotter than the food.I had the TAMALES A LA CATRINA - "Three Tamales, One Stuffed w/Rajas Filled w/Cheese, One Stuffed w/Chicken Topped w/Red Sauce & One Stuffed w/Pork, Topped w/Green Sauce". I had wanted to order a QUESADILLA, but the menu was so expansive that I never located my favorite dish. The Tamales were just a bunch of mush without have a distinguishing flavor profile for each selection.Again, the plate was hotter than the tepid items on it.The total price before tip came in at $39.36. This is more than we usually pay at most Mexican restaurants. Based on our one visit I cannot recommend El Molcajete to my TA readers.A note to the owners. You need to check the spellings on your online menu. VERGETARIAN is not a word I recognize.

Having eaten at the South Trail Orlando location I knew what to expect. I took my wife for lunch. We both enjoyed our meals. We thought they were under staffed as Service was a little slow, but always friendly and with a smile. The next night we went to dinner with friends and they wanted to give it a try. We all enjoyed it. They were busy plus a large group of 16. Again, we thought they were indeed staffed but we always had what we needed with a smile. Carne Asada was very good. We also enjoyed the flan.
