Food was good but considering you stand to order it was expensive. It seemed like everything added to the cost. It was tasty though.

I tried the cafe a few weeks ago while attending an event at IALR. The price point is good value, but considering our taxes are paying for the service it should be good value. Food is equal to most buffet lunch counters. Ialr contracts the company that runs it. Meaning our tax $ pay for all employees and all services and ialr receives any profits. Just more wasteful spending by the nice building on the hill. The sous chef seems to be the value, nice and friendly and talented guy. The head cook is arrogant and rude, fittingly with other employees of ialr. I can't say most positive reviews are employees of ialr, but I'm certain mrsellie1 is an employee.

What makes us different from others and the best Mexican restaurant in Danville, VA is that we are a family owned restaurant. Because of that, with every dish that we serve to you, we put our entire family's name on the line. The restaurant design, the di
4 of us finished eating before the 5th family member received her meal. Waiter had an attitude...obviously stressed and bothered by our requests. Not attentative to our empty drinks. THE pablono was bland. The food was ok. We will not choose this place if we have a choice.

Eclectic tequila bar serving simple, fresh tacos in Danville's Historic River District. Walk into a restored and repurposed building, and enjoy a unique dining experience with an open kitchen, friendly bar service, and plenty of deck and patio seating. Ou
The restaurant is located in the Riverwalk Historic area and is near the Old Depot. It is in an older storefront and they did a masterful job of combining the ânew with the oldâ when renovating the building. Inside there is a long bar area, a booth area and a community table area. Outside there is a large firepit and plenty of outdoor seating. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ate there on a Saturday around 1:30 and they had a good number of clientele spread between the indoor and outdoor areas. I had the Shredded Beef Nachos and my spouse had the Carnitas Quesadilla. The flavor in the meat was well developed and the spice level was perfect! We will be back to try a trio of tacos. I am told the chorizo taco is amazing. There is ample street parking and an elevated parking area to the right rear of the restaurant. Go try it......YOUâLL LOVE IT!!Hello, we are so happy to hear from you! Thanks for spending some quality time with us. We hope to see you again in the near future.

We stopped in on a Saturday night, not real busy, no wait to be seated but the crowd was steady. We ordered different meals than usual, my wife had a fajita taco salad and I had a Texas Quesadilla, both where exceptionally good for the change up. I will have the Texas Quesadilla again in the future. There was plenty of food for the kids, kids #4 meal for two if them and a regular taco salad for the other two. As usual the food was great. The service was a bit slow, chip's and salsa came after we placed our order and then we had empty glasses, tea and water, for the last 1/3 of our meal, so that part was a bit off but everything else was great as usual. We will be back.

Today our waiter was Eduardo and he suggested the Malibu Rose which was great along with our guacamole and meals. We prefer sitting in the smaller side near the bar for the atmosphere. This is a fav restaurant and it never disappoints!
