Had been looking for somewhere to get breakfast and check emails as hotel WiFi wouldnot connect to a pc. Great food and very understanding about need for WiFi!

This place is such a find! Oddly located on the ring road below Eldon's and Plaza Mar and right next to the Pharmacia. We had been aiming to try it for weeks, and today was the day! A limited menu, tacos, quesadillas and grilled meats. We began with drinks..they do not serve alcohol. However, they serve agua fresca and my favorite: horchata. Our server rapidly delivered frijoles con queso and chips. Scrumptious! We ordered the pork tacos. These were served on double corn tortillas covered with queso, and a sprinkling of chimol . GF's daughter ordered the carne asada which came with a huge order of fried plantains, frijoles and chimol. Everything was beyond delicious! It was fantastic! It is also very, very budget friendly! The service was also pretty amazing! Not intrusive at all, but our server seemed to intuit just when we needed more chips, or the deliciously spicy salsa verde.

They open mid day and remain open in to the evening. Have the tacos of choice but have flour tortillas as opposed to the corn. Like most places in town, the corn tortillas are bought and not fresh. They over power the meat. Don't forget the baleada lady just east of the baptist church if tacos aren't your gig for the eve. The baleada lady is hand tossing the tortilla on site. Look and you'll see her
