Dined at Polly's on a recommendation and I was underwhelmed. The chips and salsa were good, but beyond that there's not much to be excited about. My cheese enchiladas and tacos were bland, really lacking in flavor. The service was slow, and it was expensive for not a lot of food.

Freebird's burrito is fantastic. They have a great variety of meats, chicken, rice, beans, salsas, and other ingredients. There are also several varieties of tortillas, I like cayenne. If you don't want a burrito you can get it as a bowl or salad. You basically build your own burrito with what you want inside, so if it's not good you probably only have yourself to blame and let somebody who knows burritos choose for you next time. My grandkids love the quesadillas. For the record, Freebird's has been around longer than Chipotle and is much better with more options.

We have eaten a lot of Tex Mex around town, but this food is really very good. The fajitas are excellent and the plate for two is gigantic. Shrimp, sausage, chicken, beef......you cant go wrong. The enchiladas and taco are super delicious. This place is a diamond in the rough. A family run operation, its better than about 99% of the mexican food places in town.

Trying to find a good Mexican food restaurant that does not use just chili powder. This place is very good! Customers are comfortable, spend time visiting. Waitress was quick and attentive. Tea is fresh. The green sauce is the BOMB! I devoured fresh corn chips and green sauce. My wife liked the red salsa. We ordered the cheese enchilada plate. It was Wednesday and they are the special for $5.99! Three cheese enchiladas with tasty meat gravy, big portion of refried beans that were fresh and tasty, big side of Mexican rice and lettuce/tomato salad. It was all so very good. I ate all but a spoonful of beans. My wife shared, taking one enchilada and some rice. The waitress was great. The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed it and plan to visit again to try the chimichanga, fajitas and chalupa. We saw plates of those come out and it all smelled and looked very good. Everyone there cleaned their plates.

Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made
My husband and I stopped in for a cocktail and appetizer around 2pm. We sat at the bar. Our bartender, Jerry, provided excellent service and was super friendly. I did get a picture but we ordered the sampler appetizer. Very filling and tasteful. I had the Limeade Fresca it was very refreshing and light. My husband had the Padre Island Tea and he enjoyed it as well. We recommend On the Border in College Station Texas.

Just opened in College Station, Tx. It is a part of the Houston chain.
Four friends went to Lupe Tortilla in College Station Texas for lunch on a Sunday before the church crowd arrived. Our waitress was a little too over eager, she could have checked on us less often. She was great st taking our orders and getting the food to us rapidly. Our portions were very good, the food was delicious. Nice atmosphere and not too noisy, we were able to converse easily. We had a very enjoyable experience.

Been here before so I had to return. Gigantic tortilla filled with incredible amounts of meat and veggies. You will not walk away. You will waddle. A must stop everything I am in College Station. Just a fantastic meal in a friendly setting. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Do not go to Chuy's expecting "authentic" mexican cuisine. Once you accept that then you wouldn't be disappointed. The atmosphere is funky and fun but if you are coming for the food then expect large portions and the plates cost more than the local Mexican places. Services was quick and but rushed. Best part of the meal was the green sauce they offer by request.

Real Mexican food is a feast for the senses. From colorful peppers to the sounds of sizzling fajitas all the way to that incredible flavor. Each mouthful is just as much a result of the freshest ingredients as it is a result of the chef's expertise. Abuel
The mural paintings are just beautiful! Each tell a story and every Abuelos location is different The atmosphere was enjoyable and allowed us to visit with each other without having to talk loudly. The service was good, and water glasses filled often.Cheese fritters are always good. The queso has changed over the years, but itâs still yummy, better if you Add ground beef. The margarita/sangria swirl is a classic here at Abuelos. You can never go wrong with that one. The El Jefe is a newer margarita that comes in a shaker glass with a grilled orange. Really good margarita! They have an extensive array of margaritas and liquors to choose from. The Grande and Monterrey are great dishes for 2 to share or have left overs. They both sample some of the different items on the menu such as different enchiladas, tamales, tacos and chili relleno . The Colorado sauce is a favorite of mine for the enchiladas as itâs a rich non-meat sauce. Sides you can choose from Spanish rice, cilantro rice, retried beans, charro beans, espinaca (spinach casserole) or potato casserole (kinda like a baked potato)The menu offers other items such as many types of fajitas, stuffed chicken with chorizo, baked quesadillas, chimichanga, soups, salads, tenderloin steak medallions, tilapia as well as seafood enchiladas.Tres leches and margarita pie are both favorite desserts here!

What a pleasant surprise it was the find this place, Mad Taco. I think it instantly became one of our favorite taco places. Half the price of torchy's, with just as much, if not more, taste. Believe me, you will not be disappointed. Thanks for the great review Businesstraveler3169, so glad you enjoyed your visit. See you next time!
