This restaurant has excellent service and great Mexican food. It is busy - clearly very popular - and the service is friendly and attentive. We attended in a big party and were served promptly and courteously.
The shrimp dinner was simply the best, My wife had fish with a cream sauce and enjoyed it. The cocktails were strong. Overall a great meal at a very reasonable price, so much so that we tipped the waiter excessively.

After a long day driving on the road I just couldn't stand the thought of eatting at an outdoor taco stand. I wanted to sit down and be taken care of without paying a lot of money. The front desk man at the Hotel Galerias where we were staying directed us to traditional mexican fare that was perfect. He should have been named Mama Marias Home Cookin- so yummy. The pozole and agua fresca tasted like homemade, as if it came straight from my kitchen. Sometimes the agua Jamiaca is too watered down or not sweet enough. This was just perfect. As for the pozole it tasted like it came right out of a pot from my stove, except I add fresh avacado, chopped onion, cilantro, fresh cabbage and chips on top. But their base tasted exactly the same as mine and the chips were on the table and I bet if you had asked for the other condiments they would have brought them. It was clean, air conditioned, no bugs no flies, the service and food were speedy and the taxi that dropped us of left his number with us so when we were ready to be picked up we called him and pronto he reappeared. I don't vacation in Ciudad Obregon but out of necessity had to spend the night somewhere when traveling to and from the border and I am thankful we had both a wonderful hotel and delicious meal. TROUBLE FREE. Cost for 2-120 pesos total plus tip. 1 chicken Gordita, 1 large bowl of pozole and 2 agua frescas, plus chips and salsa. Next time I stay in Ciudad Obregon I will be back. It was located near the hotel we stayed at downtown a 50 peso taxi ride away. About a 3 minute drive. I could have driven but I was tired and didn't want to deal with finding it. Heads up they also deliver so if you can navigate the phone and want it delivered to your hotel give them a call. Just figure they have typical Mexican fare and ask for what you want. I think you might need to speak some spanish though. I wanted to sit at a proper dinner table and preferred going to the restaurant. Happy to have found this place!
We were expecting a very fancy restaurant and was happy to learn that it was very nice but not pretentious. Loved the decor especially upstairs. Great job! I had the mole which FYI isn't really mole but some sauce that tasted like peanut butter. Tried the taco with goat cheese and jamaica which was different but so good! Mandarina margarita is a must try...so yummy! Staff and service was superb! We were here for dinner and were the only ones on the 2nd floor so they played whatever music we wanted to hear. I couldn't decide on one of the dishes so later in the evening our waiter brought a sample of the other dish for us to try. He also brought Bacanora for us to try. That stuff sure packs a punch! I liked that they do this because it makes you want to come back and try other things. This has to be my new favourite restaurant in Obregon. Not for cheap eats but the pricing reflects the great service, good food, and neat ambiance. I'm told they're really known for their breakfasts/brunch which will be on my to do list next time I visit for sure.

i have been living in ciudad obregon for over 42 years, and cafe bibi was already here when i arrived. the owner was oringinally from spain, don pepe, and now his daughter and son in law are in charge. carlota, the head of all the waiters has been there since before i came into town. it's a family place, the food is homemade, the paella is great. sometimes we go there for breakfast, excellent! lunch is a la carte, or they always have a fixed menu on weekdays. the tortill espanola is wonderful. it can also be a good place for dinner. it's cozy, they have beer and alcohol, fresh juices, meat, fish, and chicken dishes. you won't have a problem at all finding something on the menu that will satisfy you. the prices are reasonable. it is right across the street from the cathedral, everyone goes for lunch afterwards. go there and enjoy! all the meals come with a basket of warm bread, butter, and salsa. we go there all the time

Mariscos El Rey is the best seafood restaurant in Sonora, you find us in Hermosillo, Guaymas and Cd Obregon. TEST IT!
Hi fellas, this time I bring you the Mariscos El Rey review. Its kind of funny, but Ciudad Obregón is a very closed minded city and their restaurants are not the exception. I mean, the place is nice, the service is great (at the entrance, it sort of ends once you sit down) and the food is good. But that is it, good. But if you ask the locals is amazing and don´t get me start with the prices. But the entire city its expensive on the most simple food businesses. Anyways, it is good like I said, try it and give us your own experience.

we don't visit here often, with all the taco places in town, notably CACTUS tacos, but when we want to splurge and have a drink, this is where you will find the best meat around. there are mixed drinks, beer, soups, salads, etc. very very good quality, but somewhat expensive

Followed a family with a newborn into TacoTaco thinking it must be good if they were eating there. I was so right. Delicious tacos with picante sauce to make your eyes water--tomatoes, onions, cilantro, pieces of habanera. Lots of goodies on the menu including Arrachera steak dishes. Going back tomorrow to sample more of the menu, but it will be hard to pass up another taco. Also have jamaica drink made from hibiscus flowers. Really nice drink. Good for you too. Beer aplenty. I still prefer Corona Extra. TacoTaco is a few blocks away from the Fiesta Inn where we stay. Pleasant young wait staff. Inexpensive, pleasant surroundings. I'm hungry just thinking about it.

Hello my friends. This time I went to a great restaurant northern Mexico. Mochomos, of Grupo Costeño. This young entrepreneurs keep growing and expanding. The menu is interesting (a little bit pretentious) and intriguing. However, like most of the businesses that grow as fast as this guys, the service is their "stone in the shoe". Anyways, it is a fresh option and a confortable place to hang out.
