As always, decent place. Nothing extra special, but, hey, it's fast food Mexican. Steak is always slightly tough.", but still good. This location was clean and fast. The staff was friendly, as well. Overall, if you want fast food that may be a little healthier (maybe??) it's safe to say you can get in and out under and hour and not spend too much. Not super crowded at his location, either. So that's a plus

Iguana Joe's restaurant is a really nice restaurant. The atmosphere is very festive and a bit noisy just like how you would perceive Mexicans but its also totally American! Don't know if that makes sense! The food options were vast and the service was good as we were a party of 6 and they kept checking on us ever so often to change out the chips and dips they give at the start. I had a shrimp brochette and that tasted really good! The refried beans were fantabulous but the serving size could have been more! All in all, great food and hopefully will return again!
Ate here for lunch last week with family. The place has TVs everywhere so you can watch the game, but there really is nothing unique about this place. Simple table and chairs with a regular Tex-mex menu. It's not bad by any means, but nothing stands out. The service is average.

We love this place, the drinks are sooo good!! Recommend the margarita sangria and the Blue Moon on draft. Our server was Arturo. He knew the menu by heart, had great recommendations. Chips and 2 kinds of salsa were great. I had the beef enchilada dinner half portion and hubby had the enchilada's al carbon with charro beans. Plenty of food, hot and delicious on a very cold night. Good service at a great little neighborhood restaurant.

The queso was very good. I had the 3 enchilada dinner and the rice and beans were very fresh. They have free soft serve ice cream in a cone with your meal.

We love Taco Bell, but sadly our neighborhood Channelview one has gotten worse with each visit. I will say that most of the time, the employees are nice and helpful. However, there is usually not near enough staff which makes the wait forever. Easy in and out hardly ever happens. Be sure to check your to-go orders to make sure they're right.
Gotta have the enchilladas verde and the shrimp quesadillas. Service might not be the best if you want take out, but if you eat in they treat you like royalty.

I was driven here by my colleague for lunch. It's a nice place for lunch in an industrial suburb of Channelview outside Houston. It's a lovely no frills place for a decent lunch during work hours and not at all expensive. The restaurant also has a good variety of choices to cater to everyone. But remember that this is a Mexican food joint.

So, I arrived in Baytown on business and the tripadvisor app popped up to recommend restaurants. Armenta's came up as the #1 rated restaurant in Baytown so I had to check it out. I read several of the reviews so I had very high expectations going in. I must say, Armenta's was awesome! Walked in, seated immediately though granted I was there early on a Monday evening. Immediately brought two varieties of fresh, great tasting salsa with warm chips and a Mexican beer in a frosted mug. Both salsas were excellent and I'm a salsa snob LOL. Ordered the tamale plate as was recommended in one of the previous reviews, it arrived on a super hot plate and was very tasty. Of course, I also grabbed a free ice cream cone on the way out.Overall, Armenta's is a gem in the neighborhood. It was very satisfactory on all levels and I highly recommend you chec it out when in the area!
