Things to do in Cedar Hill
I walked in looking to get my carbs and protein after a run and I was so disappointed. The food was bland and did not have the flavor I was accustomed to from Chipotle. Then to top it off, the young lady pulled out what seemed to be a infants feeding spoon to measure meat on top of my pile of peppers and onions. I got to the end of the line and asked the lady if I was going to be charged for a kids meal. She smiled and I paid. I will NOT be giving them anymore if my money. I just moved to Cedar Hill and have seen lines in this place, WHY ! This tasted like boiled meat ! Stop letting restaurants in Cedar Hill, TX feed you WHATEVER !
This was my 1st time here & it was delicious . The only reason I did not give them a perfect rating is bcs they did not have gorditas ready & was informed it would take @ least 15 minutes to make. Which I feel was incorrect bcs they already have the meats cut out & making the dough is quick. Aside from that everything was delicious . I will admit I was somewhat scared because my food was ready in less than 5 minutes. Took me another 7 minutes to get home & the food was piping hot. I had the taco platter for $6.99. Was able to select 3 types of meat unlike other places that only let u pick 1. I selected beef/chicken fajita & al pastor. They all had tons of meat. Love how they use the real corn tortillas. Or @ least what I see as the traditional yellow corn tortilla without the foul smell of the white tortilla. The rice & salsa were also good. A definite place to visit more than once. My only regret is not visiting sooner.

We have eaten here for several years. We have several dishes that we really enjoy. The service is excellent and the food is always of the highest quality. Mexican food varies as to likes depending on what you like, we like it. Will eat there a again and would recommend it to our friends,
Positives: management attention has improved service and foodNegatives: tricky to reach, cluttered vacant lots next doorWe've eaten at this restaurant on several occasions, but didn't have a good experience until our most recent visit. Although the physical structure has been refurbished, the most impressive improvement was the quality of customer service.Previously, employees paid little attention to most customers, the exception being their friends and other teens. Now, every customer is treated with respect. The new manager was present the day we visited. This was an improvement in itself because we'd never seen management in this store. He set a good example for his crew by talking with all customers and making sure everything was to their satisfaction. We chatted with him about recent improvements. He appreciated our comments and promised more good things were coming. The Bottom Line:We generally enjoy Taco Bueno restaurants but avoided this location because of poor experiences in the past. We'll certainly return when in the area again, with hopes the improvements are permanent.

Voted Best Fajitas, Bar & Date Spot. They have a facebook page
Lobster taco's is not something that you find in Texas very often. This restaurant has them on the appetizer menu and they are really good. They also have very good fajitas on the main menu and some options with a twist, like red snapper, shrimp, and lobster fajitas. The outdoor patio nice, so this is a great place to enjoy the fall weather and have a good meal.
I wasn't impressed with the tastes or the portions of their burritos. I noticed they serve drinks it must be what brings in the money for them. It was early afternoon so I didn't have a drink but I will go back for happy hour and try them again.

Don't let the appearance and location of this little restaurant discourage you from experiencing a taste of Mexico. It's location that is connected to a auto/tire shop isn't the most attractive but do yourself a favor and give it a try. The actual restaurant is a little run down on both the inside and out, but we come for the food , not the ambiance. The food is derived from the city of Guadalajara, Mexico. We have eaten here several times and have never been let down. They offer breakfast dishes as well as desserts and everything in between. I highly recommend the chilaquiles rojos plate and barbacoa tacos from the breakfast menu.(which is available all day) Their chips and salsa are always on point and a great way to start your meal. If you are a fan of spicy food then this is your place. They have several televisions here that are typically playing sports (usually soccer or NFL depending on the time of year). The only cons that I can think of are that at peak times the wait can be pretty long and parking can sometimes be a challenge. Pricing here is very reasonable and service here is average to good. Overall, the food is the star here and the main reason why we keep coming to this establishment.

After a few years away, I had dinner here a few weekends ago with friends. The chicken mole enchiladas were even better than I remembered! Also tasty were the pork and chicken tamales, and the enchiladas suizas. Their rice is fluffy too, not greasy and heavy as tex-mex rice sides so often are.The service was friendly and prompt. The only down side was the strolling singer who added to the already high volume of noise in the restaurant. Still, the food was so good that it was worth it.
