La Vida es Bella is a small but charming street food restaurant in Caye Caulker, Belize. We cook delicious take-out meals with flavors from El Salvador, Honduras, Belize and Mexico. Come say hi and enjoy our delightful pupusas, burritos, tacos, etc.!
Where to start about this lovely street food restaurant!? It was simply the best food we had in all of Belize! The pupusas are absolutely delicious and the burrito is a whole culinary experience in itself, all prepared by the lovely Matilde who's cooking skills would make any other chef jealous on the island. I reaaaaally recommend this restaurant and it is also extremely cheap!Enjoy!
They do really nice pizza, lots of cheese and delicious but my favourite were the Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings....absolutely amazing, eat in or takeaway. Don't expect them to arrive quickly this is after all Caye Caulker not KFC but well worth the wait and you can have a beer or rum while you wait. Not to be missed!!!
Nice place we sat on upstairs terrace, waitress was really friendly. Had really good burgers, wings and fries. Price was reasonable too.
Just the right place to recover from hangover or just a chill spot! Serving nice ceviche, mechiladas, botanas, and ice cold beers. Here to serve you!
If you are on Caye Caulker and you like ceviche you should make a point of visiting Isla Cueva. Itâs tucked away on a back street away from the main drag, but clean, friendly, inexpensive and delicious! Spend an afternoon or evening chilling on the veranda with conch ceviche and a beer and watch the world go by. By the way - when they tell you the peppers served on the side are really hot, they mean it.

Our locally owned Caribbean seaside café offers Belizean dishes and Breakfast all day at the world famous Split on Caye Caulker!
SIZE DOES MATTER! The anchor serves massive portions, but unlike most restaurants that use this strategy, their food is super-tasty and very high quality. The owner is on site most of the time and takes a lot of pride in his customer service. Notice that every rating itâs got is 5-stars... it may not have a lot of reviews, but every review it does have is rave. Highly recommended!

The Magic Grill in on the windward side of the island. Across from the restaurant, they have a treehouse with tables and benches where you can enjoy a nice breeze and a great view of the Caribbean. Good food, very nice wait staff.
