No copy cats here. This is a nice family owned and operated family business. Itâs a great group of people, to begin with-a multicultural family. The food shows the influence. Kinda Tex. Kinda Mex. Easy to find, convenient parking and hours. It appears to be ADA accessible inside and outside seating. A place for kids to play. Snacks to eat while you wait. There are no freezers here. ALL FRESH. That brisket you may be considering has been cooking for hours. Most portions are ridiculous. For instance, it took me 4 days to eat my appetizer. There are evening hours, express for lunchtime and a Sunday brunch. Oh! And they are quite accommodating for special dietary requests
If you love grilled chicken on charcoal this is your place, they use a well kept secret to spice each peace of chicken with Mesquite flavor! This Mexican fast food has moved to El Paso and offers great tasty Combos that includes corn tortillas, red onions and great salsas! The grilled Master Xavier knows his grilling! Try the Hawaiian double burger and their Queso Fundido with Chorizo. They also offer great sides including baked potatoes and Macaroni salad. The Macaroni Salad is delicious. For dessert they also have delicious Flan! The place is very clean and they offer Square Corn Tortillas! This is a favorite spot for many local hard working contractors!
A great thing about Apetito's was its varied selection of burritos - loved the number of selections. Reasonable prices, too. Both the chips and salsa were very good. As I've said in other reviews, I generally don't partake much of the salsa that comes with chips, but this salsa was seductive; kind of a smoky flavor. I also really liked that the server asked me, not just the usual "was everything all right?" but specifically, "which burrito did you like more"? (I selected two burritos, one of each type.) She expressed pride in the place, which is something I like to see. The burritos themselves were tasty - not destination-worthy in flavor - but because the place offers so many different burrito fillers, I'd go back so I could try others. The tortilla itself - neither added to or took away from the burrito experience, so at best, it's a neutral factor. At worst, it's an opportunity lost for the restaurant, as I've been to a couple of restaurants now in the Southwest where the tortillas that wrapped the burritos were noticeably flavorful. I need to ding the restaurant in some areas. One is the insipid music, seemed to be targeted for 'tweens. I'd like to hear something a little less generica. It took away from the ambiance, in my opinion. Also, the bathroom needed attention - seemed that it hadn't been cleaned since the night before. And when I walked out of the dining room, the first thing I noticed was all of the smears on the bottom half of the glass door, probably from days, perhaps weeks, of little ones helpfully pushing open the door for their parents. Not a good impression to be left with on the way out. There's a pleasant outdoor patio. Overall, I liked this place and I'd go back to try more of its menu items.

We went for the bone marrow on the recommendation of a lcoal and were not disappointed. An appetizer in half for full - we took the full for just the two of us: 6 bones with the roasted marrow inside. And they bring you tortillas to put it in - a new style for us and just yummy! The arrechera (hanger steak) was pretty good, if a bit gristly - it was still tender reheated a few days later, which is pretty good for a steak. Enjoyed the presentation of the chicken enchiladas - which is more a cheese enchilada with chopped grilled chicken on the top - and I chose a salsa verde. Beans were good, too. The tres leches cakes is one of the better ones. At 7pm on a Saturday, the wait for a table was 45 minutes, and there's limited seating while you wait. Wish they offered margarita service while waiting in line! They did have beer and water in an ice cooler. We had nice margaritas with our bone marrow, though it didn't seem very strong, even though the waiter said they added a second shot for us. Service was very friendly and helpful. Parking was full when we arrived, except for one place on the street; looks like there might have been a dirt lot next door.

The tamales here are very good because they have a generous amount of filling so that you aren't eating just masa. The tamales are also moist so you can re-heat them without them drying out. We hadn't tried the chicharrones until now and they are really good as well. They were meaty and crispy perfect for snacking. They sell a variety of other food items which makes it a good stop for families with different tastes.

They just get it right: eye-popping flavors, great service, and passionate cooking! Weâve been here for breakfast and dinner. Both experiences were impressive.

I come to El Paso twice a year because it's my wife's hometown. We always go to Chicos Tacos... however we just found this place. Our new favorite. We came with a party of 6 and we all loved our food: ceviche, elote, ice creams and quesadillas.Amazing!

Stopped in after a few years and the food is out of this world. As it's name implies, it is a little diner, but it is HUGE on Mexican taste and flavor. Had tacos, but the burritos are also spectacular as well as the enchiladas. A little hard to finfd, but well worth the trip.
